Services
Moving a piano is incredibly difficult and not something we'd recommend for anyone to try that isn't a professional. They're heavy, oddly shaped, and maneuvering it to the moving truck can be a nightmare if you have to go down stairs or through narrow corridors. On top of that, the last thing you want is to irreparably damage your piano because of a simple mistake.
How much does it cost to ship a piano? The cost depends on a variety of factors so there isn't a one size fits all price. We'll need more information from you about the piano and location to get a better idea of pricing. How do you move pianos?
That depends upon the location, but our basic, run of the mill move usually consists of us wrapping your piano in heavy pads (or a piano cover if one's available) and then wrapping that with heavy duty plastic wrap to keep the padding in place as well as protect your piano from moisture. We also remove the lyre, pedal box, backstay, and legs so the piano can be placed on a piano board to be safely moved to our moving trucks.

I can't begin to express how impressed I am with this company. From the first phone call to handling a schedule issue they have been great. When the crew came to pick up my piano they called to let me know an estimated time and they were right on the dot. They were at my home less than 25 minutes and the entire process was so professional. They have my piano in storage until our home is built and I have no doubt it will be returned in the same shape it left.

This review is well-over due! I cannot say enough great things about Gordon and his team! I utilized Piano Movers Of Texas a little while back to store my precious K. Kawai baby grand piano for 3 M in their storage and then had it shipped to Austin, ATX.
Mind you, I was incredibly nervous about selecting the right piano service since this piano has been in the family for over 25 years and is very sentimental. I am extremely happy with the service they provided.
What struck me first about this service is how thorough they are about properly storing your piano (their website explains). Second

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Piano Movers of Texas. They were
punctual, cordial and offered to look up the date my piano was born.
This was a sentimental piece of furniture given to me by my grandmother who passed away in 1984. I encourage anyone, who
needs to move a piano, to contact Carlos for a bid. I was very pleased
with the services provided.

Thank you Diane for a smooth and flexible move. We are so fortunate to find such a wonderful company! It is family run and operated. Customer service is above and beyond, you get family treatment from the first phone call and Diane always made herself available for questions. Stuart and his crew took the time to lay down mats on the walking path to ensure dolly did not damage hardwood floors. Piano is wrapped fully with padding and clear wrap. set up is to your satisfaction. For those considering a piano move, you'll find Piano Movers of Texas offer a great price for a smooth and careful
