Jacqueline grew up in a Navy family and with each new city they moved to, her parents made it a priority to take her to visit the local museums, historical sites and famous buildings which rooted her passion in art, architecture and history.
Although Jacqueline originally set out to be a teacher, she quickly changed majors and began her undergrad studies in architecture at Cosumnes River College, later transferring to California State University Sacramento receiving a BA in Interior Architecture.

Jacqueline is very professional and detailed oriented. I loved that she accommodated my unusual schedule and was willing to discuss her ideas with me in the late evening which is a huge plus when you are a busy professional. I did not feel pressured into making any decisions right away and felt like she was truly looking out for my best interest given the budget. I also loved that she was not arrogant/snooty looking down on me because of the budget. I will def be working with her in my future projects and recommending her as well.

This design team was excellent! Jacqueline & Deepa both extremely professional and friendly. They were very patient and had some amazing ideas. Jacqueline is an amazing mentor and designer. Preserving the integrity of the home, maintaining functionality, and exploring creativity, are only few of many things I have learned and have had the chance to experience while interning for Jacqueline. I had an amazing opportunity to work for Jacqueline as an intern this past summer, I got to see how hardworking, honest, and creative she is as an interior designer. She always goes above and beyond for not only guiding me as an intern, but also for guiding and assisting her clients in achieving their dream space, whether it be a home or even an office space. Apart from being such a great person, Jacqueline is an absolutely wonderful designer! I worked under her for several months as an intern and learned more than I could have imagined. Sooo, apparently I like to work under extreme stress because when I contacted Historia for a consultation and quote, I was 9 months pregnant, packing, moving, purging, and all that jazz as I was selling a home, and purchasing a brand new home (1/2 mile down the street I might add ). Not only that, I was still working a very demanding job that consumed many hours of each day while trying to keep up with the one million things my teenage son was engaged in.

I had the pleasure of leasing to and selling two of Jacqueline's properties. Having shown hundreds, perhaps thousands, of properties as a landlord and realtor, I have yet to be as impressed as I have been by Jacqueline's panache and sense of style. Her properties really did sell themselves. All I had to do was open the door.
