Professional contractors count on us to maintain a sufficient inventory of choice lumber. We manage our inventory so intensely that it is turned monthly, and rarely are any of our products out of stock. You are guaranteed consistently fresh material every time you place an order. Selling only to professionals has another advantage - our stock is never picked over by do-it-yourselfers.
Carl Van Son of Van Son Construction is in the final stages of finishing this complete remodel of a cabin on the Yuba River above Sierra City, CA. During winter the roads are closed to vehicle traffic so much of our product was snowmobiled into the site (you'll see the picture in the gallery). Caseywood was honored to be a part of this project by MD Construction & Consulting in Martis Camp, Truckee, California.

First experience walking into Caseywood. I walked in to place an order for 3 front doors and 4 interiors. Guy at the front counter was stressed out, busy as heck and as a result he just flat out said they weren’t dealing with anyone other than current account holders. Things are backed up, I get it, but he made no suggestion on where to go, when to come back, he didn’t even ask what I needed. I really wanted to give them my business so this just seems like a missed opportunity. The problem is most likely leadership. Short staffed and lacking solutions. I've been involved with 4 door orders from Caseywood in Grass Valley, CA.
I still have not received 3 of them and there were delays with the other. Their doors seem to be excellent, but their delivery promises, at least in my contractors' experiences, hold no water. Our latest order has been postponed twice with "ridiculous" excuses. Now these delays are slowing work and costing us money. If you want to order from Caseywood I would advise to order way ahead of time & you might want to be a bit of a squeaky wheel. Don't leave anything to chance because they seem to forget to order or lose your

If you are anyone other than a contractor, expect to be treated like crap. I am an owner-builder and have attempted to purchase my building materials from them twice, but every time Iv gone in I am treated like a lesser human being because I am not a contractor. I understand your specialty is working with contractors and that is perfectly understandable but when I walk in and am told that "we usually don't sell to people like you" then you can certainly bet I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

Ordered wood for my deck, it showed up as ordered however the main beams where split right down the middle and falling apart. When getting them replaced I was told "you should just be happy we are replacing the wood, I can send that wood to another job and it will get used right away"
Beware to anyone ordering wood. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past.

If you are a contractor that wants his $45k frame package the same day. This is the only place that is qualified to make that happen.
Quality lumber, knowledgeable staff, and professionalism is 5 star.
Not to mention atop notch door shop.
Bottom line if you want a lumber yard to serve you like you serve your clients, then caseywood is your go to. I know it's mine
