We all know that when your feet hurt, EVERYTHING hurts! That is why this office wants you to feel comfortable with who is taking care of you and your feet. We treat patients of all ages (from 1 year to 100+) and are concerned about their total health and well-being. A third generation Kearny native and resident, Dr. John P. Branwell is celebrating 20 years of private practice in this great town!
To ensure your convenience, below is the information you need about our podiatry office, including our hours, location, appointment scheduling and insurance acceptance. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.
Dr. Branwell is available to treat foot and ankle ailments such as diabetic foot care, ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, warts and painful calluses. Our practice specializes in general foot care. Dr. Branwell is very kind and friendly! His bed-side manner makes me feel very comfortable. I am so glad that I decided to see him for my ingrown toe nails. I look forward to my appointments with Dr. Branwell. Now I continue to see him to get orthopedic insoles for my flat feet! He's great and his office is very clean and comfortable! I also love the fact that I never have an issue finding parking for my appointments. I recommend him for your podiatry needs! He also has a really cool display case with little shoe trinkets!

My podiatrist retired and I put a shout out to my FB family for recommendations. Literally, within minutes, my feed blew up. I was in absolute disbelief at how many people responded that I should go see Dr. Branwell. People’s comments ranged from what a great Dr. he was all the way to what an incredible bedside manner and personality he had. Even if my insurance was not accepted, I had to meet him.

I had been going to see Dr. Branwell for a few months for an issue. He was very kind and professional about it while still making sure I didn’t feel bad about my issue. Thanks to Dr. Branwell I’m good as new again!!

Don't write many reviews except where warranted. Put off some minor foot issues for a couple years due to more important ones and was time to get my feet fixed. Searched my insurance, read the reviews, did some research, first visit, excellent! Great Dr., finally. Pleasant looking, clean office. Due to pandemic Staff was light but the visit was on time, thorough, and worth every minute there. Even if they were late from being busy, after seeing Dr. Branwell it would be worth the wait. I had to go for a sudden emergency check-in and the doctor was a wonderful person to accommodate something on his schedule ASAP! I had a toenail pedicure rupture on my cuticle and his way of explanation during the procedure was very much knowledgeable, smooth, calming and a quick one. I am really glad to have found him! He is gonna be my to-go podiatrist for all of my future pedic health.

Dr Branwell is a true professional. His care and concern for his patients is elevated and he makes a visit to the doctors office a nice experience, even during this covid pandemic. I felt safe and measures were taken to ensure my safety as a patient, as well as the safety of the staff. Dr. John Branwell is a very professional podiatrist; he is friendly, caring, accommodating , and explains things thoroughly. Although I was nervous about going to a doctor's office during this pandemic, I was soon put at ease. When I arrived, I was the only patient in the waiting room, but there was no wait. The doctor purposely spaced appointments so the waiting room was not crowded. Seats were spaced apart - no magazines or anything to touch while you waited. Doctor Branwell is not only a wonderful doctor he is a wonderful person. Very accommodating I called and he seen me right away. Painlessly took care of my problem all the while keeping me engaged in conversation so I wasn't focused on what he was doing. When he was finished he explained my options with no pressure to act now but when I was ready. If you have any foot trouble do you self a favor and go see Doctor Branwell now, don't suffer needlessly.
