Our first time getting food here and it was delicious! Being from NY I miss my Chinese food but this place made me miss it a little less! 5 stars and can't wait to go back! Love the fact they still use the old school cardboard containers still! Took 50 minutes, made me wait outside in the cold rain, did not tell me it would be that long.

Third place chinese in Wake Forest. It's clean and staff are friendly. If you want the basic americanized fried Chinese faves, sweet and sour or general chicken, you will be quite pleased. I just ordered szechuan chicken and it was literally chicken with brown gravy. Zero spice, even less flavor. Don't go here expecting any culinary effort beyond a clean friendly experience. Far far better flavor can be found at the other end of Rodgers Road (not Rolesville end, shudders). I wish they would put more effort into the variety of menu items they have different names but come out the same. The American

I ordered for the first time on Christmas Eve. I ordered Pepper Steak w. Onions. Well maybe there were 4 small pieces for green pepper. I saw advertised on their menu "Brown Rice" on the slim menu. I asked for brown rice instead of white and was told they don't have it. Then why is it on your menu! If you don't have it take it off your menu! I ordered a Pork Egg Roll which should have shredded pork in it. It had a pastie something in it that was really gross. I could not eat it and threw it away. The wonton soup was good. I guess having 4 small pieces of green pepper legally allowed them to call

My favorite are the great tasting hot, crispy egg rolls. Fried rice different than other places, but it's very good. We always order for pick up and service is great. We love ordering on a Friday night, egg rolls, fried rice, shrimp and broccoli, Kung po shrimp. I don't like their egg foo young though.

Your standard Chinese food restaurant. Every basic Chinese restaurant seems to differ slightly though and this particular restaurant prepares the dishes well...better than others in the area in my opinion. They work like a well-oiled machine in here from taking your order all the way to the checkout process. They have always been friendly also and consistent.

Basic Chinese food restaurant. Food was hot but not much taste. All the appetizers were premade and frozen (dumplings, egg roll, etc) Chicken teriyaki sticks seemed like they were cooked twice in deep fryer. (Dried out and wrinkly). General Tsos was made from premade prebreaded frozen chicken bites cooked in too sweet sauce, nothing crispy. Wontons in soup had strange taste to meat and not edible.
First and last time eating there.

The food is terrible. The fried rice was awful. There were no vegetables or egg and it was bright yellow. It tasted burnt. My guess is the bottom of the rice pot burned and they tried to salvage it. Fail. It was inedible. The sauce on the cashew chicken was so thick it was like gelatin. Everything was flavorless

First time here after moving to wake forest. We can't seem to find a good Chinese food place anywhere. Normal priced food, on time, but absolutely 0 flavor.... we ordered the sweet and sour chicken - the chicken was over fried (dark brown), and the chicken and broccoli. The broccoli was fresh, but the sauce was gelatinous and had 0 flavor.. would not be going again

Decent Chinese food with reasonable prices. I can't give them 5 stars bc every time I've been here, I've been unsatisfied with their service. When their phones are busy they ignore the customers at the counter. They really need to have two people at the counter to help the people who hadn't called their order in. My family and I almost left the other day after waiting for two phone calls to finish. One of them rang after we arrived; the person at the counter ignored us to take the call, even after he saw us waiting for him to finish the call he was on when we came in. There

My favorite take out Chinese place. Convenient location if you need to wait on your to go order you can get a few groceries next door at Harris teeter. Prices are very fair and wait times are reasonable no matter how busy they seem to get. They are closed Mondays so we tried the Asian bar at Harris teeter last time and there was no comparison.

Really good ribs and fried rice. Sauce on ribs was really good, but a little sweet. Price was $10.05 for what you see here and a 12oz bottle of water. Cost, quality, quantity combo gets it 4 stars. I've had better, and I've had a lot worse. I'll be back, probably for a jumbo helping of the pork fried rice next time.

I am giving this place 2 stars for a few reasons. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. The meal had good flavor and the chicken was white meat. It was crispy, which is good, but unfortunately a bit dry. The rice was dry as well. The sour sauce was really concentrated. I know sour sauce is a thick sauce... but this sauce didn't even drip off the chicken when I dunked it. Also, they were just rated 90 in sanitation a month ago, which isn't good. I didn't know that when I ordered or I would have passed. My fault because the ratings are listed right here on Yelp. I'll make sure

Was not the least bit enjoyable!! Sweet n Sour chicken was very dry and all breading. They hardly gave us any of the sour sauce nor the rice!! My son and I were very very disappointed and will not return. We basically threw most of the chicken away especially since we did not have enough white or anything to go with it.

The story:
On the hunt for some good Chinese food after church one day, we looked up (on Yelp, of course) Chinese in the area and found one nearby in Wake Forest (Heritage area).
The area:
There is plenty of parking (part of a small plaza).
The food:
My boo and I shared a hot and sour soup first. There's is loaded with mushrooms and chicken - they don't skimp! It was not too spicy, and not too sour. I added a few tablespoons of soy sauce to kick it up a notch (because I thought it was a tad bland). But it was good after that.
I got my favorite: General Tso's Chicken. I

We stopped in to Panda King for a quick bite after getting a haircut next door. I was not really in the mood for Chinese food at the time, but my daughter insisted. I'm glad she did...
Every dish we has was so unbelievably tasty! The Miso Soup had a depth of flavor that was just scrumptious. The fried dumplings had more of a wonton noodle than the normally over-thick pastry and was really delicious. We also enjoyed a Chow Mai Fun that included lots of fresh cabbage and carrots... what a delight!
Excellent fresh food and very nice service. The dining room is bright and clean. Panda King
