Prior to becoming a lawyer, Robin proudly served in the U.S. Army, worked as a ranch hand training horses, designed and wrote software systems, managed a bed & breakfast, tracked government grants for scientists at Berkeley, and taught puppetry in Borneo.
Liberty Johnson is originally from Spokane, growing up on Liberty Lake and attending high school in Spokane Valley. She has an appreciation for this city and the people who call this area home. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2016, before returning home to Spokane in 2017 to attend Gonzaga University School of Law.

Hired this firm was very nice until after I paid them. They sat on my case. Delayed filing I had to chase them down practically for them to start the paperwork process as they build me for research that made no sense to me I gave them all the information that they needed to do a simple family plan they burnt through $2,500 and literally got nothing done boilerplate paperwork absolutely the worst law firm for family plans and domestic disputes in Spokane county if you use this law firm you are making a big mistake. Understand this is my opinion which I have a right to express as a person that hired

Robin Schmal did an outstanding job with my child custody case. She was very quick with getting our case completed with the courts. Prepared all of our document in a timely manner. Kept us informed on what was happening. Explained everything we had questions about. Gave us great recommendations on how to proceed. I recommend her hands down and would gladly bring her on again! I was referred to Allen Fischer's office as I was going through a not so nice divorce, property settlement, and child custody case on a domestic partnership. I could not afford a retainer at the time as my accounts were drained and was trying to represent myself. They gave me an awesome attorney that I could afford in the amount of time I was given.
