TAME Dance Company is a group of hand selected, elite movement artists who are ready to take their stage experience to the next level. Company members at TAME are chosen by audition only, then separated into smaller groups based on level and age. Our Company dancers train a minimum of 6 hours per week in technique classes in addition to their rehearsals.
We believe a strong foundation in technique lends knowledge that will inform artistic movement and choreography learned from our esteemed faculty and guest choreographers. TAME Dance Company presents work throughout Florida, through local performances and competitions. While TAME offers the opportunity for these students to work in a competitive company, our goal is not only to win awards, but more importantly to create experienced artists.

Services
TAME Dance Academy's curriculum is designed to teach a young dancer how to behave in a professional environment. The training is conservatory-style, with a heightened focus on technique and artistry. Daily instruction in ballet, jazz and contemporary technique are required to provide stronger foundations for the supplemental courses in hip-hop, tap and acrobatics.
Within our Elite Membership, TAME Dance Academy offers a unique opportunity for advanced dancers (Levels IV and V) to specify their training to suit their individual goals. We have created two tracks of study, Conservatory and Competitive, which include styles and techniques catered to each individual artist.
Come say hello to the artists and creative team at TAME! You'll be greeted in a bright, welcoming lobby and a spacious student lounge that opens up to 2 state of the art dance studios. Each studio is 1200 square feet, with expansive 30 foot ceilings, warmly surrounded by adjustable lighting. We offer sprung marley floors, custom made steel ballet barres and a triple filtered water cooler to keep our dancers hydrated.

My daughter has been so happy since they welcomed her to TAME about a year ago. It is the environment she needed to grow. They turned her can'ts into cans and fueled her passion. She is more committed and confident since being here and I cannot thank them enough. They understand body mechanics as they are all college level graduates from major universities in dance. The technique is everything for them while understanding the importance of encouraging difficult tasks without added pressure. I cant wait to see what the future holds.

I absolutely love TAME Dance Academy! Within months of moving to TAME we saw immediate growth and my daughter blossomed as an artist! The owners and staff are welcoming and caring. They are amazing teachers who build up and encourage their students and teach the love of the arts! The studio is always clean and they are especially cautious following all the necessary guidelines to keep their students, staff and families safe and healthy!

My daughter started training with Teddy and Luke mid-opening year, after contemplating giving up dance due to issues with her previous studio. Not only did they restore her love of dance, they helped her gain new confidence in herself as an overall artist. I have seen improvement in her technique and choreography memorization. While most dance… studios focus on their competitive dancers, TAME Dance Academy does not segregate the dancers. All the dancers receive the same training all around.
