Katy Premier Primary Care was founded by Dr. Chinelo Okoye with the sole purpose of providing primary care the way it is supposed to be. Our priority is the doctor-patient relationship which is the key component of the direct primary care model (DPC). With the DPC model, you will have a direct relationship with your physician and pay a low monthly membership fee for primary care services with no insurance involvement.
Dr. Chinelo Okoye was born in San Francisco California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of Georgia with a BS in Microbiology. She attended Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where she received her medical degree. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC.
We know how challenging and expensive it is to provide cost effective, high quality health care to your employees. Studies have also shown that employers contracted with direct primary care providers have lower hospital admission rates, decreased hospital readmissions rates, decreased unnecessary referrals and decreased rates of overutilization of labs and imaging.

Dr. Okoye is one of the most caring doctors I have ever been to in my long life! She is thorough and willing to try whatever it takes to keep me well. I love that she “shops” for and negotiates the best prices for additional services such as MRIs and mammograms. If you are in the market for a doctor who actually believes in helping patients and is not just working for a “new boat”, then she is the ideal healthcare provider for you.

I have been under the care of Dr. Okoye for the past year. One of the very best doctors in the Katy area. Dr. Okoye is very professional and never rushes thru her appointments. She truly cares about your health and well being. Alway offering the best course of action. She makes sure to follow up regularly and has an open line for communicating. Dr. Okoye has a wonderful ‘bedside manner’. She listens to what you have to say and is very thorough in her treatment. She is very easy to get ahold of should you have any questions or concerns. She has contacted me several times just to see how things are going.

I was looking for medical care for my mother and found Katy Premier Primary Care via a google search - it sounded too good to be true. Having enrolled my mother in January I am extremely happy to report I was proven wrong. Dr.Okoye is truly dedicated to taking care of her patients and is extremely responsive to any health related concerns we might have. The online experience is also a very good one and typically get a response during weekdays in a matter of minutes. Would very much recommend the facility and doctor!

Dr. Okoye is the most attentive physician i have ever experienced. She not only takes the time to listen to what is happening to you and what your symptoms are, she continues to check up with you until you are healthy. I was sick over the holidays and she even personally checked on me on Christmas day.

Dr. Okoye is wonderful. She is attentive, has great bedside manner and is very accessible through text and video calls. She explains what your medical issues might be in a way that you can understand and makes you feel like you are participating in your healthcare instead of just talking at you like some doctors do. Her facility is nice and new and she can run quite a few tests right in office. Great experience and 5/5 would definitely recommend.
