We know that all farmers are concerned about the environment and generating enough food production to feed the world. You also want healthy soils, healthy crops, and, let's face it, a healthy ROI!. Agriculture currently uses roughly 70% of all freshwater withdrawals in the world today; primarily due to irrigation.
The organic produce market in the US grew to over $50B in 2019 and $75B worldwide. There is clearly a market for organic produce, grain, meat and milk. In addition to produce there is a growing demand for organically grown cotton for textiles as well. Although a much smaller category, it is growing quickly.
Not all Calcium Sulfate is the same. There is Dihydrate (Ca2SO4 +2H2O) and Anhydrite (Ca2SO4) Calcium Sulfate. The addition of the 2 naturally occurring water molecules in Calcium Sulfate Dihydrate make this type of Calcium Sulfate more water soluble, and therefore, it will work that much faster when applied.
Farmers today are expected to feed an exponentially growing number of people across the world. They are expected to do so with fewer resources and more scrutiny as concerns over climate change and the environment drive change across the entire value chain, from the farm to the fork. The move towards regenerative agriculture is real, and in many cases, adds an additional layer of uncertainty and cost to an already complex operation on the farm.

I am a beginning home gardener and I heard about EcoGEM's organic products. I ordered a 10-pound bag which was shipped directly to my door. The package included simple instructions for application, and I was really happy with the results. My snap peas and sunflowers in particular, seemed to thrive. I'll be ordering a larger quantity this spring to prep my raised beds. Thanks for the customer service and excellent product, EcoGEM!
