Calusa Recovery does not accept Medicare or Medicaid as payment for substance abuse treatment. Geographically available programming is designed to provide outpatient treatment programs while you live at home. By receiving treatment in our Evening IOP (intensive outpatient program) the individual may continue to be involved with their own therapist, doctors, and support in the community.
Family Involvement is stressed and Family Therapy Programs are offered monthly in the form of Family Group Therapy, Group Therapy for loved ones, and Education are all included in the Family Program. Family sessions are provided as needed. Involvement of collateral professionals is extremely important at Calusa.

We serve young men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. By focusing on a narrow demographic, we can provide quality, individualized care while cultivating an intimate community of young men committed to living their life, free from addiction. At Calusa Recovery we offer outpatient alcohol and drug rehab along with sober living homes to men and women struggling with drug addiction or alcoholism. We are not just another treatment center and aim to support recovering addicts in a variety of unique ways. From day one, our therapists develop a customized treatment plan around each client's needs.
It started with our experiences working at some of the country's most exclusive rehab facilities. While we saw an amazing amount of good, there were things we knew we could improve. It was obvious people needed an outlet and something to look forward to each day. After all, who wants to be stuck at some lifeless home watching the paint dry?
If a family member, close friend or partner is caught up in the self-destructive cycle of substance abuse and in denial of the situation, the criminal justice system might require court-ordered rehab as part of the sentence. Substance abuse treatment causes a decline in physical and mental health, so it's better to get them professional help than leave it to chance.

Calusa Recovery helped me in some of the most trying times of my life. Wil and Stewart gave me the tools and resources I needed to better myself all while still having fun and feeling like life was normal. You won’t find a better sober living in the Fort Myers area. Everyone at Calusa has been extremely helpful throughout my stay. I've been in recovery for over a year now and have met a lot of people along the way. Stuart and Wilbur are genuine about wanting to help someone struggling with alcohol or drugs. Me being one of them. I've seen a few sober houses along the way and Calusa recovery is by far the best sober living I've come across. They show you how to have fun in recovery and live life sober. The houses they have are awesome and clean! Highly recommend them. It changed my life!
