In the past I've loved this pizza but just ordered for takeout over the phone and the employee who I spoke with caught me off guard with how rude he was. Talked down to me in a condescending, patronizing tone simply after asking if I'd be able to pay over the phone rather than in-store. Pizza is good, but you can most definitely get better quality pizza at a better price, with MUCH better customer service at a number of different restaurants in Beverly. If you want to be treated with no respect then Little Italy is the place to call!

Our go-to pizza joint, because it’s the best! They are known for their sweet sauce, which is delicious and compliments any topping! The pizza is thin crust and cooked perfectly, never, ever soggy! I’m not a crust person and I eat their crusts, which says a lot. The pizza spot is also very clean and organized and a nice place to sit for dine-in for a casual family dinner or night out with friends! They have alcoholic beverages available for those who dine-in! The owner is also a really great guy. Good service and good people go a long way for me. Highly recommended!

This is by far my favorite pizza. It has a sweet sauce and and is the perfect thinness. The staff is great and they only do pizza, bread sticks and beer. I say " if ain't broken don't fix it." I would recommend above any others I have tried. The prices are also very reasonable and they do deliver for $5.

I love this place. I wish I hadn't moved 900 miles away but each visit to Beverly means a trip to Little Italy.
It's important to realize they use a sweet sauce on the pizza. The first time I tried it I thought it was terrible. Then a few weeks passed and I kept thinking about it. Finally I gave it another try and have been getting it ever since.
I wish they'd bottle their sauce so I could have it more regularly.
I'm not sure if the secret ingredient is still a secret but I've tried to make my own sweet sauce several times but it's never as good.

A Little Italy's pizza never disappoints. I love the sweet sauce on my pizza. The price is quite fair for such a large saucer. Best pizza in town.
The only thing I don't get is how those guys can take working there with no air conditioner in the joint. It certainly isn't conducive to
" dining in". I don't even find waiting inside pleasurable.
Is the owner just a cheapie?

Little Italy offers affordable, large pizzas with great toppings, sauce, and fast service. They are a Beverly staple that I highly recommend.
Little Italy offers great (thinner) pizzas with your more traditional savory sauce or a sweeter sauce. The sweet sauce is an acquired taste, but personally I enjoy the taste. The sweet sauce especially pairs well with salty savory meats such as the linguica, pepperoni, or sausage. On the other hand, their traditional sauce is savory and flavorful and more reminiscent of your traditional pizza.

I think they changed their crust. It used to be all bubbly and handmade looking with a crisp bottom and a firm delicious texture with nice mouth feel ... now it just looks like a homogenous frozen pizza and it is far more doughy than it used to be. It's just basic now and no longer holds up to the fold test.
I used to love this place ... now I feel like it's tanking trying to keep up with feeding tasteless millennial palates toddler feeling preschool lunch pizza.
Very very disappointing.

This pizza is great if you like tomato sauce that tastes like a mix of ketchup + bbq sauce. It's such a shame too bc the crust, cheese, temperature were all perfect. But the tomato sauce tastes awful. Tomato sauce is supposed to be tangy, have some semblance of salt. There wasn't one hint of salt in this tomato sauce. It literally tasted like someone just dumped a bottle of ketchup on top and called it a night. So disappointing because this could be a great pizza but the sauce is so disgusting. Never again.

I found this place on a recommendation from a coworker and I was not disappointed. This is now my go to pizza place lately. The crust is thin and crispy, the cheese and toppings that I've tried are fresh (pepperoni, pepper and onion, extra cheese) and the sauce is some of the best sweet sauce I've ever tasted on a pizza. The customer service is solid. Highly recommend.
