Gifford Fence Company was originally founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1978 by my father Jerry Gifford, Sr. Over the years the company has grown through a belief in doing what you say and providing the highest quality materials & installations available. In 2009 I packed up my family and moved to Orlando for the opportunity to take over an existing fence company, Florida Custom Fence, LLC.

Three hinges per gate leaf. There are three runners on a wood privacy fence, so why not 3 hinges? Hinges are sold in pairs and most companies don't want to buy an extra pair because that is money out of their coffers. Slide lockable Max-latch from Ameristar Fence Products, Inc. We have used this latch since 1978 and it is the best wood gate latch on the market.

We offer wood fence sealer or staining application services using high quality ReadySeal, Sherwin-Williams, Olympic and Behr products. We can do a clear sealer, transparent, semi transparent or solid stain depending on what look you are going for. We remove latches and tape off hinges and wall surfaces to prevent overspray damage and gumming of hinges.

We have had pool, paver, tile and screen work recently done at our home. The last was the fence that we needed to be done. Of all the companies and workers that have been at our home in the past 7 months the employees for Gifford fence were the most professional, timely and hard working. Brandon and his sister, sorry we did not get her name, showed great work ethics, which nowadays is not so easy to come by. I hope Gifford Fence appreciates and knows what great employees these two are. It is hard for companies to obtain and keep such workers, so I really hope they are well compensated. I truly

Choosing a fence contractor, at least for a wood fence, turned out to be no easy task. While some companies didn’t even respond to my quote request, others flatly turned me down, mostly because they didn’t have the personnel that were experienced enough in wood fence construction. It seems that a lot of the contractors prefer installing vinyl or aluminum picket and shy away from wood snd chain link.
I finally did get three companies to come out and quote our project. Two sent sales people out, whereas Gifford fence sent an individual to measure and the owner, Jerry, formulated the estimate

Jerry at Gifford Fence is FANTASTIC. He installed our fence back in 2016 (best price in town) and was so quick, helpful, and accommodating. Now, 5 years later, our fence sustained some damage and he had it fixed like new in DAYS. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and PRODUCT! 10/10 would recommend.

After obtaining quotes from several companies, we selected Gifford fence based on their great reviews, Jerry’s knowledge of our community’s requirements, customer service and competitive price. Jerry managed every step and even came out the first day of installation to take final measurements and make sure the correct fence material was delivered.
