Forget the shiny Husqvarna Viking sewing machines on the display floor and the new location on Brooks Street. This is still his father's Sewing Center, and Colin Bagnell has no intention of changing it. The voice of the Frenchtown Broncs, the longtime saxophonist and a beloved figure in so many other circles, Bagnell "swung a real big loop, " his son Colin said recently.
Bagnell's funeral at the Frenchtown High School gym drew more than 1,300 people, including many of the Sewing Center customers he worked so hard to please. Colin's son Pat had been helping his grandfather at the shop that summer. He was there the day after Lyle's death to consummate the sales of some used sewing machines.

I've had horrible experiences at Bagnell's Sewing Repair shop in the 5 transactions I've had in this shop over the last 6 months. Mr. Lyle Bagnell was a humble man of honesty and integrity. Unfortunately, in my experience, his son who runs the shop now has been rude, defensive, argumentative, haughty, and unbelievably disrespectful. I will take my business elsewhere.

I did not know Mr.Bagnell before I took an industrial sewing machine for him to repair. I said I would be in town overnight and he went right to work on it.
I picked up the machine in the morning. This is incredible service. The price was reasonable and I had no problem with it. I live in a rural area and to get to Mr. Bagnell's shop was a 6 hour round trip. It was worth every minute and penny. I fully recommend this repair shop.

Colin fixed my machine the first time I brought it in! Not my experience with the dealer/repair service In North Central Idaho! I highly recommend Bagnell Sewing Center to anyone & everyone needing sewing machine repair work. His repair rates are quite reasonable and he offers quick turnarounds. For me, it is worth the 300 mile round trip when my machines need work or service.
