Delicious breakfast. Was a bit worried seeing the parking lot so full, but lots of folks were getting food to go. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon, fried egg, cream cheese, frisee(sp?) On a cibatta roll. Very good. I would go back again.

Service could me better. Waited 23 minutes for food while people who ordered after me got their food before me. Inquired as to why, was told a bunch of online orders came in. Which, if that was the case, why did people who ordered after me get their food before me.
Good is always good, though.

I enjoyed a cup of chai latte with a breakfast sandwich that was also tasty. The prices seemed pretty reasonable too. My boyfriend got the breakfast of the day and it was also good. The one thing he didn't enjoy was the coffee and he tried to different ones. He thought they were both a bit bitter and he's a huge coffee fan. Too bad. I'd still recommend this place, if for nothing else but the food.

A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Order at the counter and seat yourself. Coffee was underwhelming (main reason for 4, not 5 stars) but the food was amazing! We got Sweet Berry French Toast and a Scrambler of The Day (Bacon, Red Onion and spinach).

Busy but we'll organized! The food was excellent and fairly priced. People were friendly and very efficient. They brought our breakfast out in a reasonable amount of time and it was delicious. We sat outside. Great experience overall.

We were staying in a hotel in the Minona area of Madison and looking for a breakfast place on Thursday morning. Decided to try Crema Cafe based on the reviews, and so glad we did! Got there around 11:00 a.m.; the outside tables were full but it was not crowded (maybe 25% capacity) inside. I had the French Toast, which was made with baguette slices, and served with fresh berries, an orange zest butter, and maple syrup--delicious! My husband had the Farmers Scramble, which looked really good as well. Portions were just right. We left satisfied. not overly full. Clean inside, but restrooms could

A bit more crowded than I'd hoped for on a Tuesday morning, but the food was great as it always is and the staff is wonderful too!

Great place for good coffee and good food options, only complaint is the baristas were a bit distracted. Good thing I'm not dairy intolerant because they gave me real milk instead of almond, iced instead of hot, and forgot to give me part of my order. Other than that though, it's a great place for breakfast/lunch. 👍🏼

Ordered an Artimelt (artichoke sandwich) and The Roman (zucchini and red pepper sandwich) via the Toast app.
The food was done on time when we picked it up. Both sandwiches were delicious and tasty. Really liked the chili lime chips that came with them!
We would definitely return to try more. Perhaps something from the breakfast menu!

Crazy awesome service and great tasting food! The two young ladies working there were so friendly and helpful. It was our first time there and they made it a wonderful experience. The portion sizes were a little small for the price, but otherwise a cozy little spot.

Crema Cafe only deserves two stars not because of the food but due to a disregard for safe COVID practices. They permit patrons to linger at tables long after they're done eating, having book club meetings and doing work on their laptops. This limits the table availability and clogs up the main waiting area so that the 25% capacity mandate is compromised. We've dined at similar restaurants in Madison where they do not allow laptops on weekends so they can maximize their business and table turnover. Since the food is decent, prices are reasonable and servers are nice, an adjustment of

I work in the area and this is one of my top go-to lunch places. It is a very casual cafe setting that has some top-notch food. They do breakfast/brunch and lunch. Right now they have a smaller menu that is the same all day during covid-19. This menu has both breakfast, brunch, and lunch options.

Some of my favorites are the breakfast sandwich, gobbler, and the bluebird. The breakfast sandwich is perfect if you want a super delicious and rich breakfast. It has cheddar cream cheese on it that is to die for. The cream cheese, bacon, eggs, and greens all combined create a savory, salty, and rich

Two years after my first visit and in the midst of quarantine this place is still standout excellent. Try any scrambler they're all good. But if you try only one thing try the ham and jam breakfast sandwich. The description does NOT sell it. It sounds weird. Possibly disgusting. It is without a doubt one of the best things between two pieces of bread I have ever tasted. You won't regret it. All their coffee is exceptional.

I used to like this place, and they definitely have some yummy food; however, lately the service has been poor and it seems dirty. On my last visit, the staff couldn't stop talking to each other long enough to greet me at the register and when they were out of coffee, at 730am, all they did was argue over how that inexplicably happened. Ugggh! I will stick to Moka and Monona Bakery.

Stopped in for a latte. Wanting something with caffeine, but not overly sweet, the barista recommended the Chai latte made with Rishi Tea.

You can choose the type of milk, and I was glad they began carrying oatmilk.

I really enjoyed the latte as it's less sweeter than the Tazo Chai but still gave me a jolt. I liked the flavors of different spices too.

I also got a blueberry muffin that came with a almost crumble on top. It was fluffy and contained the perfect amount of blueberries.

I'll have to come back and try one of their brunch items.

Love their savory turnovers for a quick grab and go breakfast. The doughnut holes are also delicious. I haven't had a sit down breakfast here in several years but I'm guessing it's just as good as what's behind the counter. Service is always very friendly and accommodating too.

My busy winter morning takes me to the UW-Madison campus for a class til 11 a.m., then an errand for tax preparation. I'm hungry! And I have more errands to run, things to get done before the next deep freeze, predictions of -30 degree wind chills for a few days. Again.

I pull into a parking spot close to Crema Cafe--it is in the Lake Edge Shopping Center, a strip mall. Noontime at Crema Cafe on a day when the roads are pretty clear (read, no fresh ice or snow), everybody is out for lunch, it seems. All tables are claimed, and there is a short wait at the counter. It is good to see a friend

Delicious little cafe in Monona. I came in here 2 weeks ago when I was in the area after reading good Yelp reviews, and I will definitely be back.

Food: I got the Summer BLT sandwich - major noms. I'm not normally a BLT person but with the lemon aioli, mixed greens, and chewy sourdough bread, I'm very happy I did. SO GOOD. It came with tortilla chips on the side, which were nothing special but good. I believe it was around $10 with tax - a little pricy for a sandwich, but worth it.

They had some really delicious sounding drinks (fancy lemonades, smoothies, coffees), too. I aaaalmost
