Great Lakes Construction is a family-owned and operated business that's been making Wisconsin and Northern Illinois' homes more beautiful and warmer for more than a decade. Herbert and Orlando Villalobos started Great Lakes Construction Company in 1999. Their goal was to give more options to the people of Kenosha and all surrounding suburbs when it came to renovating their windows, siding, and roofs.
At a time when major home repair chains became hugely successful, Herbert Villalobos and his brother were thinking smaller. They knew that by specializing they could offer superior quality service and low prices. Great Lakes' motto is "We strive to give quality service and ensure customer satisfaction."

Windows are one of your homes' defining characteristics and one of the first impressions people have of your home as they pass by. Make sure your windows don't just look good, make sure they fit properly, and have been installed by the experts. We carry vinyl siding, fiber cement, aluminum, and cedar.
Asphalt shingles can often be laid directly on top of an already existing asphalt roof if the existing roof is in good condition, which may reduce your cost of installation. Asphalt roofing compared to cedar roofing or slate roofing is by far the least expensive material. The exact cost of how much an asphalt roof would cost varies from home to home.
Cedar roofing a.k.a. Cedar Shakes is a great choice for historic homes or homes with high appearance standards. Like Asphalt roofing, cedar shakes come in a variety of cedar wood types and quality. Cedar roofing compared to a traditional asphalt roof can cost two to five times as much. Like asphalt roofing, cedar roofing costs vary based on the pitch of the roof, the grade of cedar shakes chosen and the type of cedar shake you elect.
Flat roof materials include tar and gravel, modified bitumen roofing, EPDM rubber roofing, roll roofing, metal roof systems, and PVC membrane. Each of these products has its own set of pros and cons, all of which should be examined carefully before deciding which product you want for your roof.
Regardless of the type of flat roof you currently have, Great Lakes Construction can repair or install any type of flat roof your home or building requires.

Copper gutters are made to withstand even the harshest of elements, season after season, year after year. They expand and contract along with temperature changes, however, copper fails to weaken in structure. Traditional gutters (typically made of aluminum, stainless and galvanized steel, or vinyl) need to be replaced more frequently than their copper counterparts.
