If you have a history of cold sores, please inform your provider prior to treatment. The doctor will need to write a prescription to pre-treat to eliminate the chances of you developing a cold sore post treatment. Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications 10-14 daysprior to treatment.
Medications such as: Aspirin, Vitamin E, Gingko Biloba, Ginseng, St. John's Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil Supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages 1 week prior to treatment (alcohol may thin the blood and increase the risk of bruising).

Any products that may be drying or irritating, including products containing salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy-acids, vitamin C, hydroquinone, retinoids, and prescription medications. After receiving a chemical peel, the skin may look and feel like a mild windburn with itching, stinging, redness, heat and/or tightness for the next number of days.
Avoid excessive Alcohol, Aspirin, NSAIDs (ibuprofen, Aleve) Garlic, Gingko Biloba, Fish Oils and Vitamin E for 5-7 days prior to your treatment unless recommended by your physician. This may help to decrease the risk of bruising during your treatment but is not contraindicated. For Cold Sore sufferers - it is recommended to take anti-viral medication the day before, the day of, and the day after your treatment.
Face down sleeping if sensitive area was treated, this may increase the chances of swelling. The carbon crusts in your face with fall down after 5-7 days. When they fall, you will see pinkish skin, this means your skin is still healing and this is brand new skin. Full results will be shown after 6-8 weeks due to the cell regeneration cycle in our skin.

I wanted to update as I have been going to Amy for over a year now. I am super excited about the new gateway location!! Amy treats every client that walks in the door with great professionalism. Both Wendy and Amy spend the extra time and care with each client. They are knowledgeable and do a fantastic job!!! I am so happy with my last appointment. I've visited Sweet Spot a few times and have seen Amy Ingle and Jennifer Moss for lip fillers/botox, and I've been happy with the results each time. I went in to see Jennifer this past weekend and I couldn't be happier with how my lips look, even as I'm recovering and have a little swelling (which is totally normal). Jen gave my lips such a nice even, enhanced look - I'm so ready to show off once it's safe to not wear a mask 24/7!

I went to Sweet Spot MediSpa for the first time last week for a Botox appointment and had the best experience. I met with Christina who was so super sweet! She listened to my concerns and addressed them without being pushy towards any procedures & that is hard to find!
