Insuring your home against theft, fire damage, water damage, and so forth is extremely important because of the simple fact that the majority of your possessions are located in your Florida home.
Florida condominium units, because they are attached, will have a condominium association to preside over the insurance needs of the group as a whole. This is called a master policy, and each Tallahassee, FL master policy can be either what is referred to as 'all-in' or 'bare walls-in.' A bare walls-in policy will cover what is known as common elements and limited common elements.
You do not have to be in a flood zone to need flood insurance. However, if you find yourself within a designated flood zone, as a homeowner, you are obligated to know everything that pertains to a policy for flood coverage. Flood loss is not included in your homeowner insurance. For you to get the coverage, you could add water back up and sump overflow to your homeowner insurance.

My homeowners insurance was one of tens of thousands in Florida that was not renewed because the insurance company wanted to reduce it's risk load.
The insurance broker that I had worked with for over 20 years came back with nothing. I contacted numerous brokers and agents none of them produced a quote for me.
James and his team was responsive and moved quickly. He found me two options, even though by that point I contacted him, I was already out of insurance for over a week.

James @ Kingdom tree has been exceptionally responsive to my need in getting a policy in place. We put a home owner policy in place that saved me some money and decided to look at my auto policy. He saved me some money there as well. When I have had questions, he calls me personally within a few minutes. I'm not used that, but I like it. Everything positive so far.
