For most residents of Cincinnati, OH Earth Day comes once a year. On a little patch of land on Longworth Street, every day is Earth Day. That patch of land belongs to David Hirschberg Co, Cincinnati's premier steel and metal recycling center. For over 100 years, we've taken metal like steel, aluminum, brass and copper off peoples' hands, and exchanged it for metal of a different sort: money in the pocket!
We also sell new and used steel and other metals in various forms. Call for current inventory. The steel service center offers a large variety of structural steel materials, fabrication services, and hard-to-find materials such as alloys and odd sizes. We specialize in same day-next day service. No order is too big or too small, and you are always welcome to stop by to purchase materials.

Services
A horse, a buggy and a dream; those were the humble beginnings of David Hirschberg Co, back in 1913. Even then, people were mindful that metal was reusable, and that made it worth money. Fast forward to the next century, and that hasn't changed a bit. Neither has our commitment to prompt, courteous service, and giving you the best prices on the market for your recyclable metals.
Soft drinks have been around almost a century. Beer has been around for longer. Over the years, the cans they were sold in have changed, but one thing remained constant: those cans are worth money. Why throw them away? Get some easy money for them at David Hirschberg Co. What you spend it on is up to you.
Many of our modern conveniences owe their very presence to one thing: steel. Without it, our buildings would be as flimsy as paper, not to mention our roads, bridges and tunnels would collapse under their own weight. David Hirschberg Co recognizes the importance steel plays in our lives and offers a large inventory of new, used & surplus structural steel, stainless and alloy metal.

Great prices! Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff members and so much more than just a “scrap yard”! They have a variety of new and used steel, electrical surplus items and competitive pricing for recyclables! Would recommend to anyone looking to complete a project or buy some items at discount!

I was completely impressed! I went looking for a used I-beam and I wasn't sure how friendly they'd be. WOW! Everyone I dealt with was more than pleasant, which is a huge contrast from most scrap yards I've been to. They had the beam I needed, drug it out of the pile, cut it to length, and loaded me up! I will definitely be back.

They were very accommodating when we purchased a cardboard baler from them. It took us a little bit to find a trucking company to pick up the baler but they were wonderful and willing to work with us while there was a delay. They are excellent with communication and very friendly. We would love to work with them again.

Great staff and great prices. They make it very easy on the customer and help the customer get the most out of their scrap. Their new steel inventory is also handy when ever I need something for a job. If you haven't been there, or it's been a while, I would definitely recommend stopping by. Keep up the good work!
