With three carefully selected local artists, Alex's Get Ink Tattoo strives to produce some of the highest quality tattoos that Connecticut has to offer. Full-day session appointments must start between 11 AM-12 PM each day. Weekends get booked up faster and most people on the waitlist are waiting for weekend availability, so PLEASE consider taking a weekday.
There is no guarantee a tattoo or scar tissue can be covered, so every coverup will be evaluated individually. Please note surgical scars must be healed at least 1-3 years, Lasered areas must be healed at least 6 months and tattoos must be healed at least 1-3 months before the artist would tattoo over them.

Alex did an exceptional job detailing my tattoo. It was my first tattoo and he took his time but efficiently completed an extensive tattoo in a three hour time frame. I've received rave reviews and I would recommend anyone I know to definitely see Alex if you're considering a tattoo.

Check out the portfolios online. All the artist here are phenomenal but Alex is a master. He has a shelf filled with first place awards from tattoo shows. He did a beautiful full shoulder tattoo with color for me in one session when my other shoulder took 3 session's from another place. Adam has done some beautiful work for my wife as well. Excellent work! Best I've seen!

Let me just say right off the bat that today was my first time getting a tattoo and I’m ready to go back for a second! I had the pleasure of working with Adam who is calm yet enthusiastic and clearly loves what he does. He was attentive, professional and patient with me. I personally didn’t experience a lot of pain, but I appreciate that he continuously asked me whether I was doing okay and if I needed to take a break. The space was very clean and I wasn’t worried about lying on the tattoo bed.
I don’t think you’ll regret going to Get Ink for a tattoo.

I got my first tattoo here by Marco. He was super nice and understanding since I was nervous and scared at first. He was encouraging me to get it and was reassuring me of how good I was doing while he was doing the tattoo. Overall positive and friendly environment. I highly recommend him! The work itself was also really good, I got 2 words written in script on the side of my ribcage and I have gotten a lot of compliments about it so props to him!

I can't go to another tattoo shop; I did once and I completely regretted it!! I see Adam, and he's done some beautiful pieces and little simple ones on me! To be honest the pricing isn't bad the amount of detail in the work! I get to just chill, watch some Netflix; everyone is so nice! I just love this place and the environment!

Got an unbelievable realistic mountain tattoo from Jesus. Very professional and not intimidating. Everyone in the shop is very friendly. Jesus' tattooing skills are remarkable. The tattoo barley hurt and healed without any scabbing or itching.
This was my second tattoo and the tattooing experience and healing process was much more enjoyable and less painful, even though my first tattoo is 10 times smaller.
I will definitely be going there for my next tattoo!

I took my 62 yr old mom for her 1st tattoo. She waited to get something very meaningful. Kelvin did a small piece on her wrist. He was nothing but professional and patient. I would recommend him to ANYONE looking to get work done. Everything you want in a shop CLEAN the work is exceptional by all artists and the place is loaded with awards from tattoo conventions

Just had Kelvin do my first tattoo and I was instantly convinced that I made the right choice. He was kind and patient throughout the drawing process, even with all my indecisiveness, and was able to bring my idea to life. His area was neat and clean and he takes great pride in his craft. This is absolutely the best tattoo shop! From the second I scheduled all through the entire process and even after getting the tattoo, the staff was professional, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. Alex was really professional and accomodating during the tattoo process. He made sure the tattoo design was perfect and did not have any problem changing whatever i asked about the design. His professional skillset and precise details are the best of the best. The overall experience was amazing and we will definitely be recommending this shop to all of our friends.

I went back to get ink after about 4 years and went to Alex this time. Per usual the facility was extremely clean and sanitary. Everyone from the artists to the secretarial staff were attentive to me as soon as I walked through the door. More importantly, Alex took his time listening to the design I wanted and also took his time designing and sketching it out. I left my appointment ecstatic about the new work of art on my forearm. I absolutely recommend Get Ink to anyone contemplating even the smallest work of art on their body. They're truly professionals.

Absolutely amazing! Kelvin has done 3 of my 4 tattoos & I could not be any happier. One was a cover up, a much regretted tattoo that he covered with a portrait. I have had it for over a year now & I still have at least one person on a daily basis stop me & compliment on how detailed it & that it's "the best portrait they've seen." He also did a very large addition on an existing piece.
I highly recommend him, he was great! He helped create my pieces & I love them! 2 of the 3 took a few hours to complete & Kelvin was great at making you feel comfortable

Alex has amazing work and skill, unless you're Black. We (my fiance and I) walked in for a consult and he did not want to even consider working with me and helping to create a vision I had for a half sleeve. He informed me that he would not help to design anything and I had to come in with a full design of what I wanted. As a tattoo artist I felt like this is a part of his job- to help your client design a great price of art. We were told to come back with a complete idea of what I wanted and then we would be able to book an appointment. I did not initially think of it as a racial thing until

I have nothing but great things to say about get ink tattoo .. After reading reviews about numerous tattoo shops and speaking with several individuals I decided to go for a consultation with Javier to see the shop and talk with Javier one on one . He had a client when I got there but was very friendly along with the rest of the staff including Carolina at the front desk . I waiting only a couple minutes and then Javier came out and listened to my ideas . I felt very comfortable with what he said and his ideas . These guys are fantastic. Alex and Javier are gifted artists who listen to their clients, then move from concept to paper to skin. Look at their work and you'll see these guys can do just about anything.

It was an amazing experience. This was my first tattoo and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The people are friendly and very skilled. The place is spotless and it has the highest safety standards. Everything they'll use is brand new sterile. I brought in my own design and Kelvin did an amazing job. I am so happy I went there and I got my wonderful tattoo.
