Great getaway from the loud city just 2-hours south. Marty and Hazel are awesome! Our short 4-night family trip involved lots of down-time, kayaking from the cabin to Lake Chatuge, and plenty of fishing the 1-mile stretch of the Lower Hightower. We landed several rainbows with pheasant tail and prince nymphs, and Woolly Buggers on 4-weight fly rods. Sad but the neighboring cabin had a crew of guys fishing with a can of corn - yes a can of corn.
