Mom to 1 amazing kid | Photographer | Artist | Newborn Specialist. Heena Jain is a renowned Newborn and Maternity photographer located in San Diego, California. Formerly a Fashion Designer entrepreneur turned into a photographer. Also worked at hospital taking Newborn Pictures. These experience have helped her in defining her unique style in photography.
Expectant moms are photographed around 28-36 weeks. I recommend contacting me as soon as possible to secure a date for your Maternity and Newborn photo session. Studio Maternity photography sessions can be scheduled anytime of the day. Check out the awesome 'FAQ' section for answers to the most common questions asked about our maternity photography session and what to expect.
Please contact us 2-3 months in advance to secure your spot. Sometimes we may have last minute availability. Please don't hesitate to reach out. Newborn photos are best done within the first 10-12 days. We take 50 percent deposit to book your appointment. And we put your due date in our calendar. As soon as your baby is born, contact us with 2-3 days and we will schedule a session within the first two weeks.
We Recommend scheduling your Maternity Photo Session between 28-35 week. This is the time when your belly is showing but its not yet the last few uncomfortable week of your pregnancy. Its best to book 2-3 months in advance to secure a spot. We have a collection of 100+ gowns to choose from ( at no additional cost ) for you to use during the session.
I believe in simple, clean, organic, classic portraiture, a style that focuses on your beautiful baby. I don't use a lot of "crazy props". Some of my favorite images have no props at all. Just baby. 100% beautiful on their own. This way, they don't get lost in the image. I do have simple props available at the studio, hats and headbands and lots of textures that I like to use.

Heena is a great photographer. We had a beach maternity photoshoot with her. She has a great collection of gowns and head garlands. She met with us early enough and on time as it was a cloudy day. Our pics look great. Really enjoyed working with her.

Heena is just so amazing!! I'm not the type to just post on my own so she gave me very good directions on how to pose, when to pose and all that good stuff! She felt knows how to capture what your looking for. She is very patient, and hands on, and an amazing person! I would highly recommend her, the way she directs and captures angles are beyond this world! Would give her 10 STARS if it was available. Her rates are reasonable, and affordable!!! She also gives specials around the holidays 😁😁 Easy 10 out of 10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!

Heena photographed our sons newborn shoot and the pictures have come out fantastic. She went above and beyond to stage a ton of different shots for us to choose from which was amazing. She was great with the baby, even though he was slightly awake when we arrived, she was able to get him back to sleep so that we were able to get a ton of awesome pictures. I couldn’t be more pleased with the final results.

She is great photographer, extremely patient with all the questions, offered a variety of packages and my kid was 14 months and was tough but still was ok to do cake smash 1 year old theme. Less number of pictures offered in the package but the quality of work was worth it. Absolutely would recommend to some of my co workers and friends.

There aren't enough words to describe Heenas patience. I brought in my baby for a session and she did such a wonderful job at comforting her! From booking to the actual in-studio session was so easy. She makes you feel comfortable and really gives beyond a 5 star service. Already booked our cake smash session ! Definitely recommend her!

Heena did a beautiful job with our maternity photos! We began in her studio and then went to few outside locations in Poway that she recommended. She was so professional and knew exactly which angles worked for us. She recommended different poses that showed off my growing belly as well as various couple poses. The photos she captured show our personalities, love, and excitement for parenthood. We will cherish these photos forever! Thank you, Heena!
