In 1917, Aiken socialites donated money to start the Aiken Hospital and Relief Society, known today as Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Located in Aiken, South Carolina, which was named 2018's "Best Small Town in the South" by Southern Living Magazine, Aiken Regional Medical Centers is a 273 licensed-bed acute care hospital facility that offers a comprehensive range of specialties and services.
The Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at Aiken Regional Medical Centers (ARMC) welcomes you. Our Family Medicine program is pending accreditation by the ACGME, and we will soon apply for accreditation for our Internal Medicine program.

I came to ARMC ER Sunday January 23rd. I had tested positive with COVID earlier in the week and my primary car physician's instructions were that if I got any worse, to contact their office or to go to the ER. Since it was a Sunday, I went to the ER. My breathing had become so bad that all I could do was cough. I was taken back quickly, and tests were run. I was placed in a room. A nurse came back and was obtaining consents. After she finished, she entered my room, closed the curtain to my room, and gave me what she called the "coming to Jesus" speech. She proceeded to tell me not to come back

I was recently admitted to Aiken Regional Medical Center for treatment. I found the medical and supporting staff to be informative and professional. My stay was as positive as a hospital stay can be from the emergency room to discharge. Even the food was good. I can highly recommend this facility for your medical needs.

This is my experience at the emergency room visit. I had stroke like symptoms. The whole experience lasted 14 hours to speak to a doctor. The first doctor asked me about my lower abdominal problems. He was confused about which patient he was seeing. During my visit, I had to explain my symptoms so he knew what was happening. The doctors shift changed.Then I waited for the my next doctor and then I asked him if he read the notes about my condition. He said confusion. They took medical testing before the doctor and said results were fine except I have a bpm of 900 which is heart failure. I also told

Friendly lady at the register process.
White female nurse didn't announce herself upon entering room I was seen and in did not introduce herself to me as a patient. She never told me I was get to go after she sent my prescription via electronically. Nurse knew I was in pain and walked by knowing she already sent my information regarding prescription and didn’t a word. Spoke to me about how to use my medication outside of the room I was being seen at and walked off. Appeared to be uncomfortable because I was a black male.
Overall I was not satisfied with the Professionalism at this facility

Overall better than average but not 5 stars. There was a lot of back and forth and very little communication and clarification on what was going on with my surgery. But it is a hospital so these things are expected. No one likes going to the hospital but if you have to go, this one is fairly decent.

The hospital was clean and had sanitizier products everywhere to ensure that everyone had access to supplies to keep them safe. There was staff help with the login computers if needed. The security officer was nice and directed you where you needed to go per your objective/appointment schedule. Their scheduled surgery time for me was on schedule. All the staff I interacted with was so very nice and kind to me - no prejudices shown towards me at all. And we shared little stories of our lives and learned a few things too. We laughed and hopefully made each other have a better day.

I went in for a procedure in Endo. Registration was a breeze with Ms.Alicia R she escorted me up to Endo and the conversation put me at ease. The entire staff and I really mean entire staff in Endo was very friendly and made me feel so much at ease. My nurse Johnathan was just awesome he really took great care of me. The other nurses who assisted made me feel so comfortable. The atmosphere in the area was happy and made me feel at ease I loved how they all got along so well. I even noticed it with the other patients.
Also, Mike the anesthesiologist was so nice and polite. I would definitely come

First class bedside service all the way through my procedure. From the genuinely kindhearted and yet detailed professionalism of the admitting nurse, as well as all the doctors and nurses in the OR right through the procedure, and the super efficient and equally kind discharge nurse, and a very thoughtful follow up call the next day. Very thankful for the quality of service I received.

Excellent team of medical staff took care of me. The procedure was well explained and the ream made the process as fun as possible. Although I hope to never visit any hospital again, everything was very comfortable, organized and you were never forgotten about. I highly recommend Aiken regional for any necessary procedures you may have to go through. I spent my time with the cardiac group.

I had a wonderful experience at Aiken Regional. From the time I arrived, from registration to post surgery and discharge, I was treated with gentle kindness and respect. Everyone was helpful and concerned for my welfare. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. My attending nurse, Becky, even let me call my husband on her cell phone to let him know how things were going.
