I had always wanted to be an attorney, but it wasn't until I worked as a paralegal while in law school that I found my niche. I knew I didn't like the adversarial side of law. I wanted to help people, so in 2013, I started the Nicole Pavlik Law Firm. I've seen what happens to families when their loved ones haven't planned their estates properly: anger, distrust, and hurt feelings among those left behind.

I was serving the LGBT community before the legalization of same-sex marriage in Arizona in 2014 and nationally in 2015. However, since that time I've seen a steep decline in same-sex couples seeking estate planning services. They assume marriage affords them rights that render an estate plan unnecessary.
Any time you start a new venture, but especially when your business is growing, it's important to have all the legal pieces in place. You need to know that you are protected and that contracts and agreements are in place-before something goes wrong. In addition to establishing start-up, ground-zero business documents, I can ensure a joint venture or partnership gets started on the right foot by establishing partner agreements.
When you suffer a loss in your family, it is an emotional and overwhelming process to try and navigate through what needs to be done. Even if your loved one had a Will in place. The executor of the Will has to follow up with creditors, file paperwork with the court and round up assets, all while grieving and continuing to live and provide for loved ones.

We had an excellent experience working with Nicole's firm on our wills and estate planning. We were able to provide all our information online, and have conference calls to review details and discuss options. Once we had documents to sign, we were able to safely go to Nicole's offices to do that. All the finalized documents were provided to us in both paper and electronic format. Valuable advice at a very reasonable price. When my mother passed away and I was asked by my family to manage the estate, I needed help with several things. Nicole was able to give good advice that helped me get things on track quickly. I found Nicole right here on Yelp and I'm glad I did. I am opening a new business and I needed to get a legal review of the lease before signing. If anyone has ever opened a business before you know there can be all types of delays. I told Nicole about being held up and she reviewed the lease very quickly. She added some very helpful items to the lease and I was able to sign just a few days later. I was really dreading the idea of doing a will, trust and power of attorneys for me and my husband. It's not exactly a "fun" process! But I will say that Nicole Pavlik made it super easy.
