We work with self pay patients, medical liens, medical lien companies, and those who participate in a healthshare. One of the many problems with getting orthopedic surgery done is that you have no idea what it will cost. Most places will charge you a facility fee + anesthesia fee + surgeons fee. No one can tell you how much it will all cost, and estimates are often non-binding.
We currently give steroid injections to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, SI joint, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Lubricant injections containing hyaluronan such as Synvisc and Orthovisc, can be given by special request. Note that these items need to be special ordered. I'm active duty military and scheduled to deploy within weeks. I've needed a cortisone shot ASAP due to prerequisite training before heading out the door for months. I've worked with my on base primary care manager to acquire a referral to work with orthopedic doctors in the Tricare West network. I am very pleased with my care and Dr. Paul's warm professional manner. I appreciate his attention to details and thorough assessment. I highly recommend him. He came to my office and gave trigger point injections, when it was difficult getting into another office. This was a huge game changer for my pain.
