Well visits are an extremely important part of the care of your child. These checkups are not just for immunizations, but for making sure your child's growth and development are on track. Vaccines are targeted at illnesses caused by infections (viruses and bacteria) that carry a significant risk of serious complications and, in many cases, death.

Services
We follow the well child care guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We believe that frequent well visits, including assessments of growth and development, physical exam and immunizations, are essential to quality care. We follow the immunization schedule established by the AAP and feel strongly that it is important to protect children from serious but preventable infectious diseases.
The staff at Children's Wellness center would like to welcome you to our practice! We are excited to meet you and your family. We are accepting all types of patients; whether you are a new parent or transferring from another office. Transferring patients, it is important to have a copy immunization records and any records you feel would be important to provide your child with the best possible care.
The "patient portion" column on your monthly statement is the amount you owe after we have posted payment from your insurance company and is due upon receipt of your statement. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. If for any reason, you are having difficulty paying your balance, we are happy to work with you.
A baby's sensitive skin is easily irritated by urine and stool. To prevent this irritation, you can apply a barrier cream like Desitin with each diaper change. Eczema is a chronic, red, itchy skin disorder that is very common, affecting 10% of children. It is often seen in children who have allergies.
Bronchiolitis is a common lung infection in young children and infants. It causes congestion in the small airways (bronchioles) of the lung. Typically, the peak time for bronchiolitis is during the winter months. It is caused by a virus. Symptoms may include runny nose, cough, and fever. Some children may develop difficulty breathing exhibiting shortness of breath, rapid and labored breathing and wheezing.

I would give this practice 0 starts if i could. My daughter has terrible re-flux, and went 8 weeks with a diagnosis of "colic and a milk allergy". The doctor had to close her eyes and hold her head when she was telling me my daughter had colic ( at 11 in the morning) because her crying was clearly annoying her. Once we switched practices and got her on the correct medicine there was a night and day difference for my baby. These doctors will make you feel crazy. However, all of the nurses were always super helpful and comforting.

The doctors, nurses, and staff here are all wonderful. They really care about their patients and take the time needed. I also love that they have evening hours. As a working parent, I really appreciate being able to get a doctor's appointment for my kiddo without having to take a day off work. I've also never had an issue getting a same day appointment for a sick visit. Would definitely recommend this practice to anyone!
