James Event Productions is a leading event production company in Southern California, providing a full range of event services for companies, non-profits, schools, and organizations. James Event Productions was established in 1988 by brother/sister team Garrett and Candy James who have over 70 years of experience in the special events industry.

The business event requires a perfect balance of showmanship, tact and intelligent branding. But it's not just a company event. It's relationship building at its best. The year is filled with hard work, sacrifice and maybe even a shoulder to cry on once in a while. Your team deserves a good time and fun.
At the start of each day, and 4 times during the day, we will clean and sanitize the tackle shop with disinfectant. Employees are required to wear facial coverings and frequently wash their hands during their shifts. No more than one customer at a time will be allowed in the tackle shop. We request that all customers wear mask.

James Event Productions hosts Over the Hump mountain bike races at Irvine Lake. It is a very well organized event and fun for the entire family. The races are well run, the parking is easy and we always feel safe and have a great time.
I also store my rv and boat at Irvine Lake RV Storage which is run by James Events. It is affordable and secure. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I had an issue parking my rv into a specific spot so they actually found me a more accessible space when it became available!
Highly recommend this production company and would feel comfortable attending

Christine Martinez and the entire team did an absolute stellar job for our recent company picnic. Last year, our company did everything internally and since then we have almost doubled in size. I knew we would need to use a professional vendor who was willing to assist with any and all questions and assist with any of our personal needs. From start to finish, everything was properly taken care of and the staff was extremely nice and caring towards our employees. I have planned many holiday events throughout the years but I have to say James Event Production was the best I've ever worked with hands down! The attention to detail was like I've never seen before and the service was nothing less than incredible. My guest are still raving about our holiday party. I've been to a few James Productions events and I've worked a few James Productions events. Their a great company that takes care of their customers and employees. They have all sorts of equipment and rides. They can setup any type of part no problem. I wouldn't hesitate to call them and book them for an event. I've also known the family for quite a few years and their a solid, hardworking family. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

During the RFP stage other event coordinators were slow to reply, some didn't even return calls, and others were just not the most friendly of people.

This is my Second time having an event planed with this company and both times I have had exceptional service. They are always on time and all the equipment, props, and amusement rides are clean and presentable. One employee, Blane, is extremely friendly and catered to my every need. I will definitely be using this company in the future

From the very beginning the receptionist was rude and did not seem to care. I don't care how big you think you are poor customer service will catch up with you. They took forever to answer emails. Very disorganized and uncaring. The only reason they're in business is I suspect they have exclusive rights to some B rated venues in OC which they probably own.
While they were taking forever to put together a quote for me I hired another great company and proceeded to plan my event.

We've been working with James Productions for years and they've been great.
We are about to launch our 5th Annual OC Brew Ha Ha Craft Beer Festival out at Oak Canyon and we just launched a new event called Sabroso that took place out at Lake View. (gets a rad breeze but only has room for about 1,500 people)
Its been awesome having the James Prod. team's support and recommendations on our events. They are pro's... they've done this a long time so when we get close to event time we will show them our plans and often time they will say, "oh... you dont want to do that

This review is for the Lakeview Park event facility, not the events company specifically as I was only a guest at the event I attended. Overall, we had a great time. There were tons of games available for kids and adults to play, plenty of restrooms, a big open grassy area for spreading out a blanket and lots of shade. There was plenty of staff on hand, and things seemed to run smoothly from the guest perspective, for the most part. They have a great sound system which allows for you to hear announcements and music throughout the facility.

Jason with James Events is amazing and this company did everything for me, from set up, to clean up to concept of party. I love love them and have hired them to plan my parties for the past 4 years. They are extremely outstanding and I would recommend them to everyone looking to hire an event company. If you want to look good and throw a great event then this is the only number you need to call.
