I'm a Nomadic Storyteller at heart and the winds of this life have carried my camera and I around the globe a few times over, from the glittering streets of Paris to the winding canals of Amsterdam, the African bush to the jungles of Costa Rica, and the azure waters of the Caribbean to the velvet green of the PNW.
Since starting my wedding and portrait photography business ten years ago, I've been based out of Charleston, SC, Maui, HI, Oahu, HI, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Venice, CA, and Sonoma County. I am currently located in the quirky beach neighborhood of Ocean Beach in San Diego. As a creatress, wanderer, and yogi, I am passionate about capturing love and the beautiful way it can exist between humans, this earth, and movement from behind my lens.

Services
I have been a storyteller for as long as I can remember. Inspired by sound, touch, and beauty, I live to capture beautiful moments of life in all its forms. I believe that every moment is magical and my purpose with photography is to help remind myself and others to appreciate and embrace the little things.
I love capturing through my lens women of all ages, shapes, sizes, colors, etc., because I believe that femininity and her inherent power are one of the most unique, mystical, and important parts of the universe. I don't have to tell you how difficult it is to live in our society with a strong and healthy sense of beauty and self-worth because, if you are a woman, you already know.
As a RYT 200, I am as at home on the mat as I am behind a lens. The physical asana of yoga has been a hugely important part of my life story, and one of my favorite things is combining that love with my passion for capturing life through a lens. A shutter click freezes the fluidity of movement and translates its poetry into an image that tells a little piece of a much larger story.
I just want to say thank you so so so much I LOVE the pictures they turned out amazing= I cant decide which ones I like the best because I love them all haha. Wow! Hana - these are fantastic! Rick and I can't thank you enough! You did a superlative job capturing the joy of the occasion. I STILL can't believe how fortunate we were with the weather cooperating at the last moment.
