Noticed grease inside my rims, so I looked up local repair shops and came across Herold Family Auto. Called and got an appointment fairly quick. Once there they looked over my car and found the issue. Yes it was more than I was expecting to pay because the issue was more severe than expected, but thankful that they were honest with me on what needed to be done and what could wait. I was fully expecting to wait for my car, but they offered a free loaner, so was able to carry on with my day. Repairs down by end of day. Great experience from start to finish, definitely will go back and recommend.

These guys did an amazing job on my Volkswagen Passat! I was very impressed when I got it back after repairs. My car needed a lot of work: Rear shocks and Rear coil springs and a wheel alignment. I am very happy with the work done on my car and will come here in the future if something happens to my car!

Excellent customer service! This was my first time taking my car to Herold and I will most definitely be coming back. I was told by another shop my car couldn't be lifted and to scrap it. Herold was able to lift it and fix everything for me and I am so thankful. They show you everything, work with you, are reasonable and understanding. 5/5 stars for sure!

This was my second time using Herold's, first for an oil change and second for new tires. At the oil change I mentioned that my window switches were not working (thinking I would need to make another appointment) but they gave me a reasonable quote and were able to fix it the same day as the oil change! They also explain everything in understandable terms! My 4 new Goodyear tires were put in quickly....but they even have vehicles for the customers to use if you leave yours there for the day!
Most of all, everyone there is so very friendly and caring! I would recommend Herold's to anyone who needed

I took our aging backup car for an inspection to make sure it was roadworthy for a weekend trip. I had been taking my cars to a trusted mechanic over the past few years (shout out to Miller Auto in Mentor!), but since moving to the west side, I had to find a replacement. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend trying them out
My customer service rep was personable and knowledgeable, and they have a lot of the niceties more commonly associated with large dealership service departments: online booking, text message alerts, loaner car available, decent waiting room.

Service representative who scheduled my appointment was polite and attentive, and straightforward about everything from start to finish, what they could and couldn't do, potential costs, and kept me posted about what was needed and when it would be done. After not so great service from other automotive centers this was a breathe of fresh air, they even had a loaner car available until mine was done. I'd go back and recommend them.

I’ve bounced around from auto repair / maintenance locations for years and years. I finally found a location that truly is like family. They are professional and courteous and they want the best for their customers. They will repair what it necessary, recommend additional repairs and they are always honest and up front.
