Owned and operated by Gilbert Tinoco, who was disheartened by the practices of a commercial competitor, Impact began as a local alternative for junk removal emphasizing customer service, efficiency, safety, and practical recycling for all materials collected.
To this day, Impact is still locally owned and operated, still serves all of San Diego County (and beyond), has received recognition for their green practices (by partnering with organizations such as the Mattress Recycling Council), is committed to repurposing and recycling materials, and has earned the praise of thousands of happy customers.

Impact Environmental - San Diego Demolition & Junk Hauling is locally-owned in San Diego, California proudly serving residential and commercial customers for their waste management needs.
Each month, citizens across Southern California pay for municipal waste services that typically come once a week. But garbage accumulation isn't consistent for everyone. With a streamlined system in place we can be booked with immediacy to cut out the delay. Ernesto, Eric, and Theo did an absolutely fabulous job! I wasn’t sure what to expect because I had never used this type of service before. However, the team arrived on time, we’re extremely profession and friendly; they explained everything they were doing and even helped me set aside things I would be keeping. Jesse and Ray were awesome 😎. Picked up excess trash we had during the Republic Service strike and took a ton of large items. Super quick, arrived early, and we're so friendly. Will definitely use this service again and hope Jesse and Ray get to return. Edit:. We've now used them 3 times in 2 properties. Always professional and always kind.

I scheduled a mattress removal with Impact via their online scheduling which allowed me to pick a 2 hour window the next day. Eric and Mike called 15 minutes before the window to confirm the location, arrived promptly (even though our gate is hard to find!), and were extremely professional, courteous, and quick. I was very impressed and will default to Impact for any junk removal or clean up after this experience. Plus, they were one of the only options I could find that would pick up your mattress and actually recycle it for a reasonable rate.

If you need to get bulky items transported for recycling or disposal- look no further! Easy to book online or via an app. I was able to get a next day appointment. Jesse and Ray were so nice, professional and provided a reasonable quote to haul my stuff. I couldn't recommend more and would use Impact again without hesitation!

I needed some built in cabinets removed from a room being repurposed back to a bedroom. They were quick, clean and able to save them from damage. There was no wall damage, either. Great service, as always with Gilbert and Eric. I recommend them highly to as many people as I can.

Had a great experience with the Impact Environmental Co team -- we even hired them for a follow-up day of work and were relieved to learn that they were available within a quick turnaround time! Everyone on the team had a great attitude, super accommodating and professional. Would recommend to whoever's looking to move junk and/or donate their goods, etc.
I didn't have to lift a finger...seriously. Price also seemed on par and/or fair considering how much we needed help with! Thanks again to the crew.

Impact Environmental got back to me within 30min of my initial request, and scheduled a site visit the following day between 1200-1400. Their driver contacted me by phone at 0945 to let me know that he was able to stop by earlier.
Their staff were pleasant and professional. I received a swift estimate, and the work was completed within 20 minutes. Nice to be able to look at my yard again.
I'll be reaching out to Impact Environmental again, and would recommend others do the same.

Wow, what a pleasure to deal with a company that does everything right! The crew showed up right on time (after a 20-minute advance warning phone call as promised). The price was reasonable and they got all my bulky old furniture up and out of the house without damaging anything. Three guys, very polite and professional. I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling Impact Environmental next time I need something hauled away!

Fantastic, reliable and affordable hauling and demo service. The team was earnest and hard working, and ensuring I was happy with the job. There was a delay in scheduling but that had to do with the high demand for their services and I can see why they are most sought out company. Kudos to Ray and Mr. "Big" for their quick and handy work. Echo others who used them and I would recommend them to friends.

I was having trouble figuring out what or who I could call to get rid of some really heavy outdoor furniture, fountain, statues, and appliance.
I was wracking my brain and asking around but people didn't really know.
Came across this company and since ratings were good decided to make appt for quote and pick up.
Was right in target with appt window.

I needed a place to come pick up my old living room furniture to make room for the new stuff. I had gotten an estimate from a different company and after we set something up the day they were supposed to come out they doubled the price, so I canceled with them and contacted Impact Junk Removal and was given the same estimate, only they never changed the amount on me.
Everything was really smooth with Impact from start to finish, the communication was great and they stayed in touch with me throughout the process. The entire thing was contact-free as we left everything outside for the pickup and

Checked out a couple of different junk removal companies and settled on this one. They came over to give me a quote and were all set to remove everything. So I decided to give them a try.
They took all the stuff and in talking to the owner I learned that he recycles what he can. Bonus! They swept up after and blew off the patio so everything was nice and clean. I really appreciate all that they did.
Tip: They give a military discount!
