Horrible costumer service, the older women isn't very nice. The carne asada burrito was nothing to write home about. And way over priced. If you want good food and good service go to Rivas on 99 in Eugene. Carne Asada Burrito.

They work non stop and are very attentive to their customers. The food and drinks were very okay. We didn't care for the quality of their chips but the salsa is very good. Parking is a real issue, however, as there just isn't any other than side street parallel parking which frankly "sucks".

Right off the bat the chips were excellent. Always a good start. Both my partner and I enjoyed our 2 item dinner, with excellent flavor and the prices were very reasonable.

09/25/21-Went for a drive, so stopped. Excellent food, 🍸 🍹, and service. Nachos were very good, and prices affordable. Most places charge $9.50 or more for a shot, but only $5.50 @El Patrons. Anyway, if you pass through Junction City stop and check it out. Great place to eat.

I just went there to get food and this is what I got. When I came to pick my food the lady completely ignored me and help the people behind me. And when I called them to ask if I could get some more beans since how the there really wants much she told me that the cook said not to tell them how to do there job and that I got what I got. My mom had just picked up the same food and got 3 times more then me. Idk I was really hopeful for some good food

I'm so thankful this restaurant survived the pandemic! Excellent service, casual family Atmosphere. Everything prepared to please. As a southern Californian, this is by far the most authentic and scrumptious Mexican cuisine I've had in 9 years here. Salsa- perfect. Always salsa and fresh chips, even with "to go". A mark of good Mexican cuisine, the rice and beans are above par! I could live on them. After that, I doubt you'll be disappointed. Excellent service also.

I’ve eaten here several times with reasonable results. A couple times i was served by the owner and it was even better. This last time was awful. The food came out not as described. The fries were raw. The service was also lacking. The waitress didn’t want to hear about what i needed or about any issues she just rudely walked away twice. I try and support our local businesses but with other good options in our area I’ll not be giving this place anymore business. I ended up paying $21 for a few bites of food and a miserable experience. I left 0 tip which takes a lot for me to do.

Being from Los Angeles, my Mexican food standards are high. Have enjoyed El Patron for the last 7 years, never disappointed. Wonderful, casual atmosphere, family owned and spot on service. Salsa wonderful! All dishes great. Chilli releno, enchiladas, even beans & rice flavorful and above average. Never disappointed with anything I've ordered here. Now getting their take out due to quarantine.

The chips and salsa are the best. The super burritos last me 2 or 3 meals, delicious shredded beef, topped with guacamole and sour cream.

Food was delicious, owner/server was polite and helpful on menu questions. Everything came out very hot and tasted fresh with great seasoning. I ordered the Chicken Taquitos and you can tell they make their own tortillas in house and fill them generously with the protien and more. Delicious and a place I will visit again! My group loved the atmosphere and noted the establishment was quite clean.

The food is amazing. My husband and I drive from South Eugene all the way to J.C. to get what we consider the best Mexican food. The atmosphere is relaxing or sometimes very exciting (especially birthday celebrations). Jorge's personality is warm and friendly, and Juan's food is wonderful.

We got the taco salad in the tortilla with chicken, and everything was really fresh and good. They were fine with us substituting guacamole for just avocado and our order came really fast. Good Shirley temples too!

First time here... I am orginally from Phoenix and finding a Mexican spot comparable to what I am use to has been a challenge to say the least.

This place is good, would not say great but it's definitely good. I would go back again.

So now for the review:

The bathroom was clean. Not much to say l, but a clean bathroom shows they care about cleaning.

The Decor: it was decorated in the style of most Mexican restaurants, Mexican themed. They are maybe 10 to 13 tables for in door seating. Outside in the patio, there are maybe another 10 tables. It was a interesting setup and unfortunately

Good portions, good quality for comfort food, and good $$ service. (The lunch menu is good on a budget, the dinner menu less so.) That being said, good isn't that great. The place could use some more lively decor, too. Wide selection as you'd expect from the usual Oregon Mexican restaurant, but I prefer a smaller menu of higher quality fare over a large menu with above average results.

Went here for our Sunday afternoon lunch with the family left by almost Sunday evening. The restaurant was about half full but the service was very slow. We waited over an hour from the time we were seated (we ordered fairly soon after that) until we got our food. The waiter was very friendly and tried to be attentive but I think he was serving the whole place so he was always busy. Our food was just alright. I got a burrito with bell peppers and steak but the meat was so huge and tough that it was hard to eat and the bell pepper pieces were so large that you had to pull apart your buritto to

My wife and I tried this place on a lark when traffic was backed-up during rush hour yesterday evening. It has been through multiple owners over the years we have lived in the area and wasn't very good in the past. We can now say: THINGS HAVE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER! The margaritas were as-advertised - Best in Town! They were HUGE and really good. The service was fast. Endless chips and salsa (which was a little thin) and food was great. We ordered the Carne Asada and added a Chile Relleno a la carte and split it (our usual) and got out the door for $37 before the tip. Not bad. We will definitely

Despite the exterior and interior looks this place served up some decent food. It's your tun of the mill Mexican restaurant serving what most places serve. We were passing through town and wanted something other than fast food and this fitb the bill. Actually the chips served were really good and thin and crispy. They were very fresh. We all enjoyed what we ordered my husband especially liked the carnitas burrito. The man who waited on us was very pleasant and efficient as he was the only one.

We were greeted at the door by a Spanish speaking waitress very pleasant guided us to our booth and got chips and salsa for us. We perused the menu and found the standard fare for Mexican restaurants or waitress brought us a second basket of chips and salsa while we waited for the dinner. We certainly had enough to eat and cleaned our plates well. Dinner for the two of us was under $25 which to our way of thinking was acceptable.

Would we eat there again? Possibly, but only because Mexican food is not our favorite. Restaurant was clean and quiet only other people were elderly and in booths separated

The food here is always good to good enough for the price. The service is always mediocre, at best. Last time we went here our refills on drinks were non-existent and there were literally no other guests there. All in all, this is better than a gamble, which is what most other places in JC are.

The food was good tasting, but I found a huge piece of plastic bag that ran all the way through my burrito. When I called them about it ( we too the food to go) I was told that it happens because the "Chefs cut a lot of meat" and sometimes the plastic bags get "rolled in" to the food. I should have been offered a refund, but all I got was an excuse. If they know that this happens, they should change their procedures!
This was very dangerous. Thank God some child didn't get it. I'll never eat there again.

I was very excited to try out a new restaurant here in JC. I went with the steak fajitas my plate was massive. The steak was nice and tender was pleased with my dish. My boyfriend had a burrito which he really enjoyed. The chips and salsa were very good as well as the bloody marys we ordered. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Definently will be back. Very nice place.
