Our names are Amanda Kallaur and Jennifer Tiffany and we are the Owners, Fashion Designers, and Tailors of The Queens of Seams! We both worked for Charleston's highest-rated alterations shop prior to pursuing our dream of branching out and opening our own shop! We are unlike any alterations shop, in that we are passionate about taking a modern approach to the alterations and design world.

These ladies absolutely HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK with my wedding dress! The seamstress that I originally was going to for my first dress turned me away for a second dress alteration after agreeing to alter. In a panic I immediately called The Queens of Seams and they took me right in! I had 8 weeks till my wedding and they met with me 3 different times to make sure everything was perfect. They also did all of my bridesmaids! I'm so thankful for Queens of Seams for helping making my wedding day so perfect!

I needed last minute minor alterations on a gown for my COVID wedding. We were married in 2020 but were hosting a larger reception in June 2021 while I was 7 months pregnant. Queen of Seams was able to alter the gown quickly and inexpensively with a 2 week turn around! Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

I absolutely love this business! They are so very kind and deliver excellent service. They altered my bridesmaid's dress for me, hemmed it and took in the waist, and it was a perfect fit. I brought it back after the wedding and they hemmed it a second time so I could keep using the dress as something more casual. I highly recommend their shop and their skills!

These ladies are the best! They worked some serious magic on a very difficult bridesmaids dress and another dress and both were done on time and were exactly what I asked for. They offered to go above and beyond with some additional last minute tweaks if I need them and made me feel so much better about the bridesmaids dress. If I ever need any other alterations I won’t go anywhere else!

In progress review- I brought my wedding dress to them in January for my wedding in May. Even though I had lots of time to make alterations, Amanda still always got each step done quickly & took the time to make sure it was done exactly how I wanted it. So far, I’ve had lace added to the sides of the dress, the dress taken in on the top, & big pads taken out & altered to fit better. She’s been wonderful to work with & I’m so glad I chose queens of seams for my wedding dress!

I love the ladies at Queens of Seams! They have done alterations for myself and my husband for both wedding and casual attire.
