Services
Women's Medical Center traces its roots to the practice of Dr. Bill Coppage and William Hasty, established in East Point nearly 85 years ago. In 1964, they were joined by Dr. William "Bill" Kilpatrick, and in 1974 by Dr. G. Richard Moore, father of current partners and sisters, Drs. The family's roots on the Southside run deep.
The professionals at Women's Medical Center are committed to providing a level of service that's focused on one simple thing: The benefit of the patient. New patients at Women's Medical Center are guaranteed a 30-minute one-on-one with their physician. Where some physicians might push for surgery, the associates at Women's Medical Center are committed to explaining why surgery may not be the best choice.
We take pride in how many families have had multiple generations of family members delivered by our practice. There is no greater compliment than a mom having a great experience with us, then 20-30 years later recommend us to the daughter we delivered to care for her during her own pregnancy. Having multiple generations of WMC patients in a room for a delivery is a wonderful experience.
Generations of women on Atlanta's south side of town have been coming to WMC over the years, for Obstetrics and Gynecology care. As a Generalist OB/GYN practice, we offer a wide range of services to our patients, including basic Women's preventive health care, education, cancer screening, and treatment of female-organ problems.
While all 3 of our MD's offer surgery when it makes sense, we are also committed to making sure we tailor your treatment to you as an individual. We believe that being good surgeons is not only all about doing quality work in the Operating Room, but also making good decisions about whether the OR is where you need to be in the first place.

I am so upset with this practice from the billing, the scheduling of appointments, the individual midwives, the ultrasound appointments, to my birth experience. After 9 months of coming for appointments and meeting almost every person in this office, I met 4 individuals who I felt gave quality care. I feel terrible leaving bad reviews for any personal business as I know how hard it is to please every customer, but I gave this business so many chances to treat me with respect. Each visit you are hounded upfront to pay bills that have not made it to your home yet, at the end of your apt you have

Women’s Medical Center of Tyrone,
Unprofessional is an understatement. This is my 1st time dealing with this type of practice directly, so I did not have any reference on how the process or an OBGYN center is supposed to operate. However, being in the medical field I DO know how a practice should properly take care of patients and have a clear understanding of what it should NOT look like. With that being said, Women’s Medical Center delivered the worst experience I could even imagine from this type of practice...they are just outright dirty. They lie on patient’s charts, they neglect their

Please stay away from this center!! I would advise you to do your own research before making an appointment. My best friend's traumtic experience with this center is not one anybody should have to go through. It has changed her life forever and it has been absolutely awful. Please do your own research! If you want quality care that takes care of their patients with integrity, this is not the place for you.

I’ve been with WMC since I was 8wks pregnant and it was the best experience imaginable. My baby is now 12wks and I’m so sad that my pregnancy/post pregnancy journey is coming to an end. I will continue my care with them as my obgyn. Hopefully in a year or so my husband and I will be ready for another addition to our family and I will be so pleased to use them again. Very clean, professional and attentive!!

I've been with them for 6 years now. I've seen all of the midwives and have been with them for all three of my births. They are an awesome team! I've seen each doctor and they are each very good! They listened to all my concerns and took all of them seriously. They stayed on top of everything each time I saw them. Nothing but good words from me! There is absolutely nothing I would complain about!

D., plus it's less than 3 miles from my house very convenient.. I've, called three days in a row trying to set appointment plus left voicemail. I know we're in a pandemic so things are a little behind but three days and no return phone call, I wouldn't put my life in this staff hands..

What a great experience. Being new to the area from a Miami and absolutely loving my doctors back at home, I continued to hold off til I could get there to see them. I was reluctant to try a new practice, but I had no choice due to some medical concerns. This practice surpassed my expectations. So warm and friendly and they take their time; the sensitivity and care shows! I was seen by the NP, Claudine, she was so awesome. I've heard so many great things about many of the doctors and NP of the practice. Thank you woman's Medical!!

This office is great. It has been a good experience from check in through leaving. I'm thankful the staff has been so kind and takes their time to listen. I see Dr. Patricia Moore and she is the only provider I have seen so far. She answers all the questions and makes sure her patients know they can ask anything. Her bedside manner is amazing.

I don’t think it’s fair to give one star and bash a place based on a single phone call or the fact that they were not accepting new patients. They don’t have a crowded waiting room or rushed appointments because they only take on so many patients at a time. I have received phenomenal care here. I am the type to research and have a lot of extra requests, all of which have been met with respect and attention to detail. Every single person I have seen here whether doctor or midwife has been extremely thorough, knowledgeable, personable, and pleasant. I am so glad I chose to come here and wish

So I was a bit nervous going in to my first appointment. I'm new to Georgia and heard horrible things about healthcare here. My appointment was scheduled for 1 pm. I arrived at 1235 and was called to the back at 1250. After having my vitals checked I went in the doctors office and she reviewed my medical history and answered all the questions that I had. After talking for about 10 minutes I was escorted to an exam room for my pap. I changed and the doctor was back in within 5 minutes. After the exam we talked for a bit more and I left with informational handouts in regards to my concerns.

Completely regret not coming here sooner. Having always gone to health services on my local campus, I've always been a little disappointed with the care I've received. This does not apply at Women's Medical Center.
First, I love that every person who works there is a woman. This really creates a welcoming and safe atmosphere. Even the idea of a male OBGYN makes me uncomfortable, so I really love this woman run facility. Also, the building is large and spacious unlike your typical cramped medical office.
Second, they are so fast and efficient here. The ladies at the front desk
