I have been a patient of Dr. Alder’s for over 20 years and cannot say enough good things about him and his wonderful office team. Dr. Alder is a leader in the dental profession in Illinois and Chicago and has served on the Boards of both the Illinois and Chicago Dental Societies. This is the best dental office I've ever been to in my life. Dr. Alder gave me my smile back and I will never go to another dentist. The staff, the nurses, the assistants are all professional, friendly, and attentive to the patient's needs. Anyone looking for a dentist this is who I would recommend.

Dr. Alder and his team are amazing.
I say this as a person who has to get a lot of work done, and who has had a fear of dentists for years. Can’t say that fear has been overcome but I can say this is the first dentist/dental staff I’ve actually trusted in a very long time if not ever.
They’re super transparent about what needs to be done and why, and they work with insurance to advocate for patients and bring at least some of those costs down.
I say this as a person who has to get a lot of work done, and who has had a fear of dentists for years. Can’t say that fear has been overcome but I can say this is the first dentist/dental staff I’ve actually trusted in a very long time if not ever.

After going to him a few years, I ran out the door and would never go back. He charged me a fortune to do a root canal and a crown in 2011. It's only been 3 years, and the root canal had to be redone because the job wasn't thorough. And the crown didn't fit well in the first place, which is what caused the second root canal to have to be done. When his incompetent aide put on my crown, she first DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR! Didn't even apologize! She ran it under the faucet and then shoved it in my mouth. Now I have to have the tooth pulled because my dental "insurance"
