This place was like a prison. It was dirty and disgusting and I felt like I was being held captive the entire time. I got very little help from my assigned therapist and social worker; at one point my assigned therapist told me I was “overreacting”. I didn’t feel like there was anyone around me who actually understood what I was going through and my situation as a young adult. The only people I liked there were the other patients and honestly they helped me more than the staff did. We all looked out for each other as much as we could and they were the only people I felt kind of understood

If I could give zero stars I would!! This place is disqusting, the health board should shut it down. They do not clean the rooms, bathrooms, common areas.... anything!! I just got out of here today, the techs have a I'm better than you attitude. It's run more like a prison then a place to get help. The nurses forget to give meds then when confronted lie. The techs call patients names and laugh in their face about their condition. One tech almost hit a patient saying I'm not scared to go to the pen. Letting patients fall bc of being overly medicated and when informed say it's not their job to help

The place is a joke. They have no structure at all. The doctors don't seem to care about any issues you are going threw. Literally you wake up eat breakfast and either sleep.walk the halls or watch TV. You can only sleep so much. I got very stressed because I couldn't sleep my days away lol. Nor was not in any mood to be watching TV especially when your detoxing.just overall a horrible experience. They got some techs that's really fo care about you but they can only do so much for you. And there is the techs that dont give two craps about anyone in the there except themselves

They don’t even deserve a single star rating. They won’t pick up the phone and won’t release my husbands belongings and credit card but they made me sign the paper n took a copy of my ID without releasing anything mind you I waited exactly 4 hours only for me to be returned to told to come the next day. Their level of unprofessional service is very distasteful.

This place saved my life. I went into detox simply trying to stay alive another day. I came out with a new attitude on life and entered the IOP program after hearing Rene’s testimony. I’m forever grateful God put it on her heart to come speak with us that day. The IOP program and the staff are amazing. I’ve been in several programs and this is hands down the best one I’ve gone to. We are a family that holds each other accountable. If you want people that care about you like their own family then give it a try. You won’t regret it!

I have gone to many out patient programs in the 2 years IV been trying to be clean, baton rouge behavioral has wonderful counselors, they offer transportation to and from, and they have helped me with many of the issues that kept me relapsing. I have been coming to baton rouge behavioral for 5 months and I'm going on 6 months clean when before I couldn't make it to 3 months clean. I love the staff at baton rouge behavioral. They have taught me how to deal with things in life so that I don't need to turn to drugs anymore.

I have seen this place from the outside and the inside and this facility is very unsanitary the psych techs are very disrespectful to the mental health patients the nurses and doctors are on excusable unhelpful to the patients as they choose not to do such.
Just because the place is license by the state of Louisiana in health and hospice does not mean that this place is doing exactly what it is deemed to do so I feel that if a secret individual would be sent in to investigate this place you will see that these multiple reviews are not in accurate but very much so true. So I feel like sending someone

The Dr, staff they are trying their best to get my husband into a rehab hospital and they know they only have a certain day to do before his insurance is up. Also they really have a clean facility and to me it was comfortable as a visitor. I would also say that they try their best to do what In favor for their patient. With my husband he needs rehab they was going to let me drive him to a rehab facility myself but kept him in so that they may can find one to for sure take him so that his going straight from there to a rehab center cause once they leave there it's to late for them to do anything
