Josh and the entire staff at Roberts Funeral home (downtown Ocala) were of the utmost help to our family in planning the recent funeral for my brother in law. We first dealt with Stephen who guided us through our pre-need planning. It’s never an easy thing to have to face the inevitable but we were so grateful for his patience and explanation for each step of the way.
Everything that was laid out (ahead of time) came out just as planned when we were ready. There were no surprises.

No one ever wants to get that call, the one letting them know their loved one is gone. My world shattered a couple of weeks ago as I stood and trembled while holding the phone to my ear, listening to those words. When that happened, I felt lost and confused and not sure what to do next. By the grace of God, we found Roberts Funeral home. Josh Leverette helped us so much. His genuine empathy and kindness was a bright light in the middle of our darkest hour and helped us get through this experience. Josh and his team were absolutely amazing through such a difficult process. We lost my brother and sister in love on the same day, within 18 hours , from COVID. It still seems like a bad dream, but Josh pulled it all together and we were able to celebrate them both at the same time. Thanks again Josh for making everything perfect!

Roberts Funeral Home was great at helping us make decisions with our loved one, during such an emotional time. Josh was very caring and yet professional at the same time. I would recommend the Robert's Funeral Home downtown Ocala to anyone. Other Funeral homes wouldn't even talk to us for a week, but Robert's Downtown took us in right away. Josh and the staff at Robert's downtown chapel were exceptional to work with. After my mother's passing I reached out to Josh. From the first phone conversation he made me feel at ease. Upon our first visit to the funeral home we found a very plush and comfortable consultation room. They took so much of the stress away and were so respectful and courteous. I felt like they really went above and beyond to honor my mother's life with dignity and respect. The chapel and family room were very nice as well. Working with Robert's funeral (particularly Josh) has made such a difficult time more bearable. The funeral facility is a beautiful as well as its caring and understanding people! I would like to share that Josh made my mom’s funeral process the easiest at such a hard time. My mom never asked for anything but she deserved the best I could give her. Everything was beautiful and just how Josh had explained it to me. The staff were very polite and understanding. I recommend Robert’s funeral home to anyone who has lost someone special to them.
