If you have a color deficiency, stop into the office today to test out the Enchroma glasses! Remember to write down you results. It takes at the very least, about 30 minutes for your eyes to adapt, if they are going to. Enchroma does have their own frame styles, but you can get the lenses put into pretty much any frame.

If glasses are leaving the office, we will keep your credit card on file and a contract must be signed stating the agreed upon return date. If the glasses are not returned by that date, the card will be charges in amount of $279 (the retail cost of the Enchroma Fitovers.)
Services
Dr. Farrall graduated from Cabrini College with a degree in Biology. She earned an additional Bachelor's degree in Visual Science and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Farrall is an active member of the Delaware Optometric Association. She has been active in the Newark Community, lecturing at the University of Delaware, and providing vision screening for local community events.
Once upon a time, people went to the doctor and paid for services as they left the office. Then insurance companies were formed and patients paid their premiums to them and expected the insurance company to pay the doctor. Now, insurance companies still expect you to pay premiums to them and also pay the doctor for whatever they do not pay for.
Please review the standard of care policies with regard to contact lenses, as well as our office policies on evaluations and refits. Delaware State Law dictates that contact lens prescriptions are valid for 12 months from the date of service. After that 12 month period, all contact lens patients are therefore required by law to schedule an exam and contact lens evaluation to renew the contact lens prescription.
If you need to reschedule/cancel, we require 24 hour notice, otherwise a charge of $30.00 will be added to your account. New patients will be dilated for the exam; make sure you bring sunglasses, and if needed a driver. Referrals from your primary care physician if your insurance requires a referral to see a specialist.

Everyone who works there from the technician, Jamie, to Denise, the optician, to Dr Farrall herself are all AWESOME! I'm so glad that I chose Vision Center to be my eyecare provider!

Good experience, only wish the doctor would have commented on ny eye tests. She reviewed my macular degeneration results and said nothing had changed but did not go over my results. Wish she had. Next time I will make sure to ask. Thank you.

I have been going to see Dr. Amy M Farrall for many years now even before she was at her current practice. She is a very caring and compassionate doctor. I have never felt rushed and all my questions/concerns are always addressed. The staff at Vision Center of Delaware are always helpful and friendly with every visit. I would recommend her and have to anyone seeking vision care.

Office staff top notch, efficient. Tech was friendly and helpful. I don't like that I wasn't told I'd have eyes dilated, as I had errands to run after, and also that I could decline this service. First time having eye exam. Dr. Needs a little work on bedside manner.
