We are a full service BERNINA dealer serving the area for 25 years. We carry the full line of BERNINA machines and accessories and have comprehensive classes to teach you everything you need to know about the BERNINA products sold in the store. Our goal is to provide high-quality products at the fair price. We pride ourselves in providing old-fashioned customer service. Services
I hope you spend some time and look around the store. If you have never been to our actual store, please feel free to browse around and hopefully get a feel for all of the great things that we have to offer. We are primarily a BERNINA dealer, but we also carry a nice selection of quilting fabrics, primarily from Moda Fabrics.
These classes are intended to help you understand your machine better. The costs of the classes are included in the price of the machine and required by the selling dealer. There is a fee for students who did not purchase their machine from The Sewing Store. Find out more here. The Accuquilt Go! Club is intended to help you advance your skills with your cutter and make sure that you are using the cutter and dies to their full potential.
The Sewing Store has been a full service BERNINA dealer since 1996. We have always strived to provide the best customer experience by carrying the full line of machines and sergers, as well as, the vast collection of the accessories available for your machine. We have always attended trainings to learn how to use and service the products we carry.
We have a BERNINA Certified technician on staff. His name is Dave Smith and you might know him from other BERNINA stores in the area. He is working exclusively for us now. Dave works in the store on Tuesdays. Your machine never leaves the store. Most repairs (especially simple cleanings) are finished by the time Dave leaves the store on Tuesday evening.

I started looking into switching to Bernina machines and went to another dealer first. There were no machines available to test drive there. It turns out the dealer had decided to go out of business but did not share that with me. Good thing I did not purchase from her. I went to Sandy's store shortly after and was happy to find many machines to choose from. Being an experienced sewer/embroiderer I knew what I was looking for. This little store nestled in Lower Burrell Pa is packed with inspiration, fabrics, classes, a very helpful and knowledgeable staff, conducts open houses to introduce new products, gives loyalty points to cash in for free stuff, has great tech sevice all led by a great teacher and business woman named Sandy Fink. Sandy not only keeps up with the newest Bernina products but can answer any question that you throw her way! If there is a problem she can't solve Bernini gets a call AND SHE GETS BACK TO YOU! Sandy Fink, the owner, clearly shows pride of ownership in her attractive, meticulously clean, and well-appointed store. I purchased my first Bernina from Sandy after asking around about local dealers. Sandy came highly recommended. She sat down with me for a good hour as I reviewed the machine I was considering and even welcomed me to come back and sew on it some more to make sure I was certain about my purchase.
