Ralph Smith's Clock Repair

I was disappointed in several aspects of my recent experince with Ralph Smith Auction Realty.
Pictures of the item I won were taken from a fairly wide angle and didn't reveal several areas of minor damage or a missing part. Intentional? I don't know, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt but consider some other aspects of my experience.
In the online auction conducted on January 3rd, 2022 I noted the same HiBid account placing bids up to the maximums on multiple (over a dozen) higher-value lots in many different categories, but not winning any of them. Keep that in mind when setting your max

Absolutely best auction house. Everything runs smoothly. Always get great deals. My Dad and I always have a fun time finding great bargains.

I used Smith Auction to sell some things for me and they did an excellent job. They were professional and handled the sale real well. I'm over all very pleased with them and will use them again in the future.

I got 10 dollars for 25 pictures and a shield. I called the owner and asked him why it was only 10 dollars and he argued with me calling me a crack headed b*%#^ worst place ever!

Sold a house a day prior to auction with no notice to potential bidders. Guess that how it goes. Not fair because family owned. On to the next one. I call BS!!!

First off doesn't have auction preview like all the rest do. I think this hurts both the sellers and the buyers since you can't be sure of what you are purchasing. Which in return causes bids to be lower.

My family bought a house from Ralph Smith Auction 2 years ago and DJ was great to work with. Since then, I have bought several items from his auctions and they are always kind, helpful and organized. I highly recommend them and will continue to buy from their auctions.

This auction company is complete disaster and will never purchase on one of their sales again ! 2 able bodied people at the pickup site and they refused to help me load my freezer I bought ! Pick up site was a disaster and buyers premium is obnoxious!

They have a great crew and all of them are very friendly and very helpful if I was to have an auction I would use them for sure thank you all for the great work you did on my neighbor’s property

Had my first experience with an online auction. I enjoyed shopping from my back porch! Pick up was busy but I enjoyed chatting with some nice folks in line. Everyone was nice! I'll buy again!

We buy at auctions weekly & this is the worst experience we have ever had at an auction pick up. We have been in line an hour & the line hasn't moved. I dont think they were prepared for this amount of people. it seems unorganized.

They have the highest local buyers premium to date that I'm aware of. Auctions online have no preview even though others do. The item I paid close to a hundred dollars for was in great conditionin but covered in mold and smelled so bad it has to be stored outside for now. No mention of the mold in the listing. First purchase from this company and my last. Buyers beware
