At Mod we set ourselves apart from other nail salons by cleaning, disinfecting & then sterilizing all stainless tools. For our pedicures we use Footsie Bath tubs with disposable liners, buffers, and nail files that are thrown away after every treatment. This is the safest and most sanitary way for you to enjoy your pedicure.

I'm unsure if the woman that provided my service was new or not but I added acrylic to my big toenails and wanted white nail polish that total came out to $41. I informed her that it appeared lumpy, she then removed the nail polish and tried filing the nail more. It maybe that she applied the coats of nail polish too thick. Nonetheless, it looked the same way after her second attempt . The lady was sweet but I won't be going back.

I’ve been looking for a quality nail salon/nail tech for months in my city and I’m happy that I’ve finally found one! Sasha did a full-set for me w/coffin shape and I was very pleased. The places I’ve been to in the past never got the shape right without me having to ask them to file more etc. She was efficient, personable, & the cost definitely matched the quality work that I received. I highly recommend making this nail salon your go to if you’re in the Columbia area.

My best friend and I went to Mod to get our nails done and left with the best experiences we'd ever had getting them done. The salon is clean and relaxing, and our techs were absolutely fantastic! I had Candace and my friend had Sasha. I can't recommend either of them enough! They were both very gentle and gave us exactly what we asked for, if not a little better.

I had the best experience at Mod Nail Spa. Seriously out of the hundreds of manicures I’ve had in my life I’ve never been more satisfied with the results. Before hand I thought maybe it was just the shape of my nails that caused me to never got the spot on look I was going for but Sasha was very informative and honest when helping me decide on my desired shape. Also I am very indecisive when it comes to choosing a color and she was super patient with me and just and all around pleasant person to be around. I can’t stop looking at my nails, Sasha killed it. I will definitely be returning.

My mother, sister and I paid for gel nails. None lasted a week! My mother is 87 and has had them done extensively prior to us moving to SC and they have lasted weeks but not here! Only lasted 4 days and she was doing nothing. Sent them an email with pictures of all our nails chipped and they didn’t even respond. Don’t waste your money.

I tried this salon after trying several others in the Columbia area. It remains my favorite due to its cleanliness, service, and hospitality. I've had a pedicure from almost every employee and they were all fantastic. The gel pedicures always last 3.5-4 weeks without chipping or peeling. I never feel rushed through my service and everyone is so nice. Cost is average; not cheap and not overly expensive. I would recommend this business to anyone.

I had Lisa today who was a very meticulous technician and really took care to give me thorough but thoughtful gel manicure today. She assessed my nail strength before deciding which technique would be best for completing the job. I was so impressed with her. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the price was not my favorite thing and I didn't feel that there were enough gel polish colors as compared to other locations. However, I would definitely go back to see Lisa.

Mod Nail Spa makes sure you are satisfied with your nails! We had an appointment with Lisa to do my teenage daughter's fill in and polish. I could not sit with her due to the spacing and COVID procedures. I did not know until we got to the car (and I had tipped) that she hated her nails. They were nothing like what she asked for or the picture she showed her (blue nail with black cow pattern) and were poorly done, even after the appointment took an hour and a half. It took convincing for her to go back, but I talked to Ivan and he said Kelly could fix her nails. Kelly did an amazing job

After reading some reviews and seeing that this nail spa was number one on Yelp, I went and gave them a try. I immediately walked in and was welcomed. I was going in for two nail repairs and a fill in. Kelly had an appointment, but she was willing to do my fill in until her next appointment got there. Kelly repaired two of my nails and did my fill and Ivan polished my nails. I felt right at home. Candace was there as well and I loved her energy. They usually do mostly appointments, but they were willing to work me in and I truly appreciated that. I'll definitely be back!

This is my my absolutely favorite nail salon. I come every two weeks to get a new color of gel
Polish and my nails always look amazing. Ivan is the Technician I usually see but everyone there is amazing. When I come for my visit it's like hanging out with friends. Always good conversation, everything is always clean and I look forward to my nail appointment.

I didn't know what to expect from having artificial nails (the one time I had them, I HATED them), but Kelly was wonderful! I showed her a picture of what I was hoping for, and she knocked it out of the park. Not only that, but the length was perfect for my wedding (though I think I'll go shorter next time for my day-to-day art teacher life LOL). Overall, a great experience. 10/10. I also had my toes done by Candace a few days before my nails, and that was also a great experience! When I go here, I feel as though I'm amongst friends; they make me feel so welcome!

I got married June 2017 and my bridesmaids and I got our nails done here the day before. I forgot to write a review!!! It was the perfect experience. Kim, the owner, was beyond hospitable, her technicians were professional and friendly, and my nails turned out perfectly. She even gave me my favorite nail color in gel polish as a wedding gift! My girls said that was the best nail experience they've ever had. I just wish I knew more people to refer to Mod Nails!

Highly suggest booking online or calling to make an appointment since they are so good they are usually booked solid and can't walk-ins. Prices are reasonable. I come once a month for a gel mani and spa pedicure. Lisa is wonderful and does a great job each time.

My first visit was fantastic. Kim did a pink and white fill for me - such a great example of a strong female business owner. Her salon is her family and you can tell she cares for her employees. My nails turned out great and I had a pedicure by Larry - very good exfoliation of my heels and the hot towels were the perfect temperature- finally Kim waxed my brows - very natural.
This is a true gem - making my appointment was so easy and I look forward to coming back again next month!

Mod Nail Salon can be summed up in 3 words: meticulous, professional, friendly. The professionals there respect appointment times. No walking in and writing on a random notepad then waiting for an hour. They obviously take time time management seriously. It is very easy to book an appointment online.
