At our office nothing is more important than the health and safety of our patients and staff. Currently, we are continuing to treat patients and taking appointments. Our confirmation system requests that those with a fever, cough, sneezing, or have recently traveled outside of the country, reschedule their appointment.
Those defined at risk are: Elderly, patients with heart or lung disorders, diabetes & immunocompromised. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me, or Dr. Schatz, personally at the office. We will be happy to address any concerns you may have. Also, our practice manager, Meghan, has a Masters degree in Public Health so she will be happy to go over our protocols with you and answer your questions.

Services
From routine checkups to treatments for particular problems, Dr. Hickey is equipped to handle all your podiatric needs. What makes our practice different from others? A serious commitment to continued learning. While all doctors have to take a certain number of credits of medical education each year, Dr. Hickey often winds up with almost twice the number required.
We love being part of Long Island and servicing the communities from which our patients come. We very much appreciate the heritage, scenery and the people from Farmingdale, Bellmore, Wantagh, Westbury, East Meadow, Bethpage, Hicksville, Massapequa, Merrick, and of course, Levittown! Actually it is in Seaford but only six minutes from Bellmore.
It includes descriptions of our office location, including a map and directions, hours, appointment scheduling, insurance acceptance and billing policies. We know you have many choices when choosing a Podiatrist, so we thank you for choosing us. Please call (516) 735-4545 for an appointment. If for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible.
Your first visit to our office establishes a vital foundation for our relationship with you. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information such as your medical history, since we can never tell what may be important. Our doctors spend much of the first visit just listening to you, to determine what your concerns are and how best to treat them.
We encourage you to contact us whenever you have an interest or concern about podiatry such as diabetic foot care, foot injuries, skin problems on the feet, heel pain or other foot issues. Please note, email is NOT HIPAA compliant, so please do NOT email us about specifics or your current treatment as we will be unable to answer.

This office is laid back but still highly professional. The Staff is helpful and kind. Dr.Hickey will never let you leave without telling a joke and doing an amazing job on your feet! Though I have moved 3 hours away they are still very helpful when I'm in town or if I need a hard to obtain product. Thank you all! Keep up the great work!
