DMAW members are nonprofit integrated direct response fundraisers, marketers, and engagement advocates. We offer educational programming, networking opportunities, and professional development. Our community includes anyone who works with or for nonprofits to better engage their members and supporters as well as those who aim to foster the next generation experts in this field.
Membership in DMAW offers a multitude of opportunities! Our educational sessions will train you in the latest trends, regulations, and techniques in multi-channel direct marketing - enabling you to be the best in the industry both tactically and strategically! Our social networking on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and our Blog are vibrant, professional communities that can be invaluable daily resources to you.
An important responsibility as a DMAW member is to direct the future of the organization and that is done through your voting for the professionals who can best lead us. Currently, we have a 21-member board. For 2022, nine (9) positions will become available. There are five (5) incumbents who have chosen to run again, and we have six (6) new candidates throwing their hats into the ring!
Collaboration Committee - One of the pillars of the Strategic Plan is collaboration with other organizations, whether it is on policy or programs. Serve on the committee that seeks collaborative opportunities.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee - This newly formed committee is to help DMAW promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization as well as collaborating with other organizations to ensure DEI best practices in the entire sector.The DMAW values the diversity of experiences, ideas, people, and organizations in our community.
