Dr. Razmik Galustian graduated from the Azad University Dental School in 2003. After moving to the United States, he attended U.C.L.A. advanced standing program to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He then completed clinical training in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Temple University as well as Master's degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Paul S. Applefield has accrued over 30 years of experience in general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. After receiving an undergraduate degree from University of Southern California, Dr. Applefield completed dental training at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Following graduation, Dr. Applefield conducted a successful practice in Northridge, California.

I just left CDI as a first time patient and my experience was top notch! The moment that I walked in the office I was greeted by Stephanie and Rose who were so nice. They thoroughly checked me in under the new CDC Covid guidelines which made me feel safe and protected!

Run, don't walk away from this crooked operation! After searching for a new Dentist I chose this place after reading the great reviews. I was told I needed a filling replaced and a crown for a supposed cracked tooth (which I did not have any pain or issues with). They were very interested when they learned I had PPO insurance. When in the exam chair I heard the Hygienist speaking with another patient in the adjoining room telling them they had a filling that needed to be replaced. Red flag. Dr. Armen said I needed this work done
(1 filling and a crown). I stupidly went ahead with the procedures

RUN!!!!! Rose quoted me an estimate for the cost of a crown. In addition to almost $300 for the crown it's self Calabasas dental was trying to charge me an additional $325 lab fee. When I called my dental insurance to inquire about this additional lab fee, my dental insurance informed me that I should not be paying a lab fee of any kind and that the cost of the crown is inclusive. So, I called Calabasas dental back and told then that I had spoken to my dental insurance company and inquired about the additional $325 lab fee. I started seeing Dr. Armen at Calabasas Dental Institute since October of 2019. Calabasas Dental Institute is going to be my final destination in searching for a dental office. You walk into this waiting room with a scent of coffee and actually you can have one, don't worry you can rinse off or even brush your teeth ( brush and paste were available in the bathroom) . Staff are warm and friendly and both Galustian brothers are amazing doctors. Have you heard "no pain, no gain' that is not true for this dental office!

Let me start by saying, THANK YOU GOD! My wife and I have been switching dentists for the last 2 years because of the unscrupulous practices that had crept up in the dental industry. Today was our first appointment at this office. I did extensive research on Calabasas dentists and found this dentist on YELP, I read all the great reviews and they seemed too good to be true. Teeth cleaning! Dr. Armen and his staff are absolutely amazing. I've been going to Dr. Armen since before he took over this practice in Calabasas. Up until coming to him I hated going to the dentist, he has changed that for me. His staff are accommodating and welcoming and remember me every time I come back. He has also done a crown on me and made me a night guard. If you're looking for a dentist that you can trust to do amazing work with no pain he's your guy!

Dr. Armen is very gentle with needles and drills! I had to put that out there first because I have had a few others prior to and they were really aggressive & rough with application. While I was waiting for my crown to come in, my temporary crown was super uncomfortable, had an sharp hole (caused during the mold making from an air bubble). It was so junk, it actually broke apart while I was eating lettuce! Dr. Armen fixed the temporary crown (previously installed by someone else) that kept falling out. After he redid it, there were no sharp edges, gaps or holes and it stayed put for the entire

I first started treatment with Dr Armen Galustian back in Valencia, being so afraid of any kind of dental work, that I had to get Nitrous, just so that I wouldn't jump out of the chair the moment the doctor walked in.
Dr Armen Galustian has me now as comfortable as one can be in that chair, without nitrous!!
He's honest, friendly, patient and hands down the best dentist I've had, given how scared I was, I never thought I'd be able to say anything positive about any dentist!
This is a beautiful, clean and modern office with extremely friendly staff and state
