I hired Rossana in mid 2018 to get a divorce. My wife skipped town and I had to get it done by Publication. The publicist emailed myself and Rossana when that aspect was complete. 6 weeks later I contacted Rossana's office to ask if everything was completed or if anything else needed to be done. They hadn't opened the publicist's email yet. That was a year ago. I still haven't received a divorce decree showing it's been finalized. Worst communication with a "professional" ever.

As others have commented, this attorney does not even deserve one star, zero is much more appropriate. My husband hired her to resolve a divorce from his first marriage and Rossana's handling of the case from beginning to end was despicable.
She continuously showed up late or missed court dates with zero communication. When she did show up she didn't have any paperwork relevant to the case and missed filings necessary causing the process to drag on further.
I've now found out that she NEVER completed or filed the final judgement paperwork that we have been requesting from her

Horrendous lawyer! She is unethical, rude, and unprofessional she can't even file paperwork correctly!! How can she still practice law? Please file with the state board she is disgusting she broke attorney client privilege when she divulged information to the opposing parties lawyer! Please run she won't return any emails nor phone calls. All the while her staff will curse at you for asking questions about the case!!

Our family retained Rossana for a probate case. It was a train wreck. Getting any service or answers from her or her office was a nightmare. Constantly yelling over the phone, never had the correct information and so on.

Rossanna Mitchell promised to make things right , when in all reality , she just took my savings and never showed up in court. And when "she" (meaning her office) did , the judge and everyone else laughed under their breath when someone from her office finally showed up via speakerphone ....... SMH . I just happened to come across Rossana Mitchell profile again. It's been 9 years since I retained her and 5 years since I wrote my review. It's really disappointing to read that she is still a terrible and unethical attorney. In addition, her responses to some reviews are extremely unprofessional. Although, she may not agree to what the negative review says, the customer service strategy is to always take ownership of the compliant and apologize. Rosanna's response should pretty much summarize her ability to practice law.....which is as incompetent as you will ever see. Even with this review, I have yet to receive a statement of all charges. I would estimate that $1000 was actually used and $2,500 is due back to me!

Where do I even start? The poor staff that work for her? The fact you can't ever get her on the phone or to call you back? Or that she will lie? I hired this lady for a custody case paid my $2,500 retainer in cash she went to court once did the paper work and all. She wasn't prepared when I my court date came up so she changed it, fine. I asked her how much I had on my retainer left after everything she did and with the court coming up, she sent me invoices for spousal support paperwork double charged me for the same paperwork three times. If you hire this lady don't pay her up front

It's been years now but I'll never forget the horrible experience with this Attorney. I regret gifting her my hard earned money in return for no customer service, wrongfully filed paperwork, and if I would have actually listened to her advice I might not have custody of my daughter right now. She told me to not show up to custody hearing my ex… scheduled while requesting full custody. Thankfully I got a second opinion and I did show up, now I have full custody. Not thanks to Rossana who didn't even return unearned retainer, and didn't even show up to court.

Do yourself a favor and DONT DO IT. Not only did she not show up to our case, she took another 2500 for a new potential charge that didnt end up happening. I came to this woman scared and completely naive to how law works. We got our a$$ handed to us because this woman didnt show up. YUP. we had a court date and OUR LAWYER didnt show up. She took almost 7 grand from an already struggling family. I still have the texts of her NOT taking responsibility for being a crap lawyer. We are understanding and I get that stuff happens. This will be the third time my family has retained Rossana Mitchell. She handle both of my brothers divorce cases back in 2008 and 2009. After witnessing her in action I felt comfortable enough to return to her for our third case when we began having child visitation issues with my ex sister in-law. This law office was able to assist us with an Ex Parte polishing and a iron clad supplemental to express extreme concern of child neglect of my niece. After reading some reviews left here on yelp...I will admit that had I not already known of Rossana I wouldn't have wanted to take a chance

The WORST! PLEASE do NOT pay attention to the good reviews. A few of the good reviews are not actual clients! She is VERY aware of ALL the poor reviews of her, on Yelp, and admitted to me she does NOT care! You want a cheap attorney, well she is definitely the one. She's a MESS, un-professional and dresses like a slob. Her office is a mess and has elderly people hanging out and sleeping in her front office. Don't' be fooled by her pictures, they definitely are NOT current. After firing her & doing research on this so called attorney. She is NOT liked in the San Bernardino

Do yourself a favor and read ALL her reviews!! Be very careful who you choose who to give your money to! No sympathy or compassion, in fact she will probably lose your case if there are unexpected snags she can't be bothered with. In such a case, you will only get as far as her secretary. She'll be often be a no show as she will have bigger fish fry. You may even wonder who's side she is on. Very unethical practices, no loyalty to her clients. Deep pockets only please.

I hired Rossana office to handle a post settlement agreement in which my ex husband failed to comply with the orders. I retained another attorney after becoming extremely frustrated with her office and her. She was quick to collect her retainer which was 3500$, but once she got paid it was almost impossible to get a hold of her, she had made an appointment to meet with me at her office. When I arrived she was not there, she ended up having to have a phone conference with me. Every time I emailed her questions she never responded, she never called back, she was always late to court appearances.

Wow, for one she is unprofessional and pompous. Two, she is late for her court like nobody else's time matters. Before you hire a lame attorney like Rosanna Mitchell do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. She claims to be a fathers rights attorney and that is a lie. I first found Rossana Mitchell online and was very skeptical because of the reviews on yelp. But I still called and made a appt to meet with her regarding a child custody matter. After sitting and meeting with her she made us feel very comfortable. We decided to hire her. We are not completed done with the child custody matter. But so far all I can say is she knows what she's doing and knows her STUFF. I highly recommend her. I know for a fact we will get everything we want in court.

Let me start by saying, I came to Rossana after another attorney had "screwed" me in every aspect. I was facing losing custody of my two young children with an ugly divorce. Not only did Rossana calm me down and listen to my situation, she fought for me and my children. We just finished our custody hearing, and I am over the moon with joy!
