A bold entrepreneurial adventure began in 2005 when Troy Pongratz decided to strike out on his own and start offering product design consulting services. He wanted to create a business where more time is spent on product design. Since then, Pongratz Engineering has helped numerous small and large companies bring products to fruition.
Troy creates, designs, builds, and solves problems. Hobbies and activities such as model airplane building and fixing cars, combined with an obsession for things that go, have provided an understanding of what works and what doesn't. This foundation has been built upon and augmented by the talents of the Pongratz team, creating a culture that values curiosity, exploration, and problem solving.

Services
What does that mean for us? In short, we're not happy unless you are happy. This is our guiding principle and we get there by delivering winning product designs, on time and on budget. In house, we employ a team of gifted individuals that can adapt to the culture of your company. We are accustomed to integrating into your existing team or working independently and taking care of all aspects of a product development project.
Pongratz Engineering offers a wide range of services and has years of experience bringing products to market. Our talented team has learned to be intuitive, adaptable and solution oriented. At the start of a project, it is difficult, if not impossible, to begin without an established vision of the final product.
Our approach to industrial design turns ideas into reality in an easy and thoughtful manner. Whether starting from just an idea, or a thorough specification, we have the knowledge and expertise to help visualize the possibilities, narrow down the focus, and create a winning design. Throughout the industrial design process, we are considering the ultimate step to getting products to market-the product design.
Pongratz Engineering offers an in-house 3D printing service. Our customers absolutely love that we can build their parts, often overnight, with next day delivery. The 3D printer that we use is a Fortus 250mc made by Stratasys. The Fortus 250mc is an industrial grade machine that takes care of nearly all of our prototyping needs.
