Kevin Torrey of American Hauling, Oakland was professional , responsive and thoughtful when I contacted him to do a small hauling job after a move. I was beyond impressed with his communication and the fact that he fit us into his schedule on short notice. He gave an estimate and said he estimates high so the customer isn't surprised later. It came in as promised. His guys came at the time agreed and were finished in less than 30'. They all wore masks. I highly recommend this company and would never use anyone else if you need any kind of hauling.

My roommates and I were clearing out of our apartment and needed to get rid of a bunch of furniture left by previous tenants. American Hauling promptly gave us a quote that was quite reasonable. They did a very professional job on short notice. Highly recommended for anyone in East Bay who needs bulky items removed.

This is a very late review of the great work that Kevin and his team did to clean out my late brother's condo in Alameda. I was totally off on my estimate of how much junk there was to remove. Upon arriving on site Kevin immediately assessed the work to be done and then got more equipment and crew to work. Everything was cleaned out and removed in an extremely organized and efficient manner.
I would highly recommend American Hauling! Very professional company that will get your job done in a timely and cost effective way.

I recently moved and had piles of broken down cardboard boxes and bags (and bags!) of crumbled paper from inside all of the boxes that I needed picked up and disposed of. Kevin worked with me on an estimate and setting up a time, they called me when en route, and arrived during the promised time. Everything was picked up and gone within 15 mins. Very satisfied, and would definitely recommend and use them again!

Very reasonable price, timely and professional. I received an estimate within a half hour and they informed me that I could add more items which would be included in their basic rate. The haulers were professional and wore masks. They even swept up the debris and made sure everything was clean. I will definitely use them again!

I used these guys 8 years ago when we were doing a DIY bathroom remodel and they were the first ones I thought of calling when we were doing another home remodel and needed our demo hauled away. We have a ton of stairs but they were fast, thorough and the price was right. Overall a super easy experience and I would use them again anytime I need something hauled away.

My husband and I have used their services numerous times. We lost our backyard and wood shop a few years ago to a fire, Kevin had his crew here quickly and they cleared out debris in a day. Since then we have been renovating our home and have used American Hauling multiple times. Kevin is always quick to give a quote and the crew are always super fast. They have been incredibly respectful of our space during covid as well, which is of course a relief. We will definitely continue to use their services.

STILL GREAT SERVICE! My first review of Kevin was 2009...so you know that I trust and value his service. We clipped ginormous branches off 3 trees and left them in the yard. His crew of three showed up earlier than the scheduled window (after a phone call letting me know they'd be able to) and efficiently got it all out. A big bonus for me is that he takes all forms of payment - including American Express, which I appreciate for the points. Don't hesitate to contact Kevin!

We needed to clear a 6,000 ft warehouse of the remaining built in racks and items we could not sell, after 34 years of doing business. We called Kevin, left a message and he called us right back. We told him we would like to have it done that week and he dropped what he was doing and came over to review the site and give us a quote. He was our 3rd quote and definitely the best. Kevin sent his excellent crew the following day and finished the job the day after that. We could not have been happier with the results. These are lovely, professional people who are good at what they do. Kevin is responsive and responsible and his team is prompt and professional. I made the mistake of calling another company once because they could come sooner, but learned that waiting to get on Kevin's schedule was well worth it--it was a mistake I only made once during my renovation. I contacted American Hauling because I'd heard good things about them. I spoke with Kevin, the owner, and gave him a rundown of what I needed to be hauled away. We agreed on a specific date and time, but I figured it would be more like an 8 hour window with me waiting around. I was wrong. His crew was at my place at the time specified. They were in and out in no time, courteous to my neighbors and they cleaned up better than I would have! Great job! - I'll be calling American Hauling for future jobs.
