Our first trip to the scrap yard in 2017 to reclaim materials for retiring boxcars was an eye-opener. The history that every corner held was incredible. Being able to take that wood and steel and give it new life inside of people's homes truly showed us how valuable our mission was.

During those pioneering years, one car stood out among the rest, almost as important as the locomotive engine itself: the boxcar. Not just because of the versatility for the freight it could carry, but because of the connection with humanity it offered. The typical boxcar doubled as a passenger car for the ticketless.
Recovered from a 1971 car with plank dimensions of 90 x 12 x 2.25 or 30 sq ft, and suitable for a 42 or 48x90 top or 36x90 top and bench. These oak 3 ply laminated planks are tongue and groove construction and still wear the original varnish top coat. Some tongue and groove damage is possible due to the removal process but considered A grade planks.

Boxcar Woody's Signature Whiskey tap consists of a plastic body for cleanliness and a rubber gasket to suction the whiskey tower to your bottle to ensure stability.
