My mom is a US citizen and all our visas were canceled due to covid. My Nani got admitted in the hospital and Sangeeta walked us through the process (we got our emergency visa in one day) even though she is in ticketing and not a visa agency. I contacted the agency and talked to Sangeetha, who was polite and understanding of the whole situation. Sangeeta Singh is a con-artist. She is a fraud and takes advantage of your urgent travel situation. She quoted me a ticket and pushed to purchase the ticket by putting down $500 immediately. In good faith, I processed the payment.
After I checked the fares on Airlines website, it was about $250 less than what Sangeeta charged. Also, I needed a flexible fare as my parents plan could change due to the Covid situation. She claimed that she bought flexible fare. After looking at the class of the ticket, it turned out to be a non-flexible class of ticket.
Later she claimed it was a "bulk fare

This travel agency is a scam , do not fall prey for a few good reviews.. the lady Sangeeta is a scam artist, unprofessional , unethical.. she forces you to buy tickets and does not reveal the actual fare prices.. also she hides ticket cancellation policies .. if she thinks that she does not want to deal with you ( for whatever reason only she knows).. she will beat around the bush.. we had a bad experience booking tickets from her.. Please stay way, you will find better ticketing agencies..

I had booked my Parents tickets from Chennai to San Francisco for this summer to come visit us from AmbiTravels, but due to Covid-19, had to cancel travel plans, contacted Sangeetha, she worked with Airlines and got us full refund. Very happy with the service and will definitely book again once Covid pandemic is behind us.

I am very happy to have read your 2 star review. Us travel personele simply cannot work for free. I agree with you about an upfront fee. I wish all travel companies would follow. If they want Kayak, Expedia or other on line services, I say go for it. The public must know how dedicated we are to them. Managing a reservation takes tons of time, weeks if not months.

This was my second time booking with Sangeeta. Last time was for a planned trip to India, she got me excellent fares on flights with shortest layovers. This time round, my husband needed to go to India urgently for a death in the family. I took a chance and texted Sangeeta at 10PM and was so grateful she responded immediately and within one hour his tickets were booked. She was prompt and courteous. Previous to finding this agency, I looked online for my flights and bookings and I usually accepted the prices that that were listed. I didn't really have anyone else to tell me otherwise. When I enlisted this place to book my flights (recommended by a friend), I found that they had great prices that were lower than what I had found online. 1. This agency actually wants you to put down $500 if you want them to hold a reservation overnight. In my experience, a lot of travel agents do it free of cost. The $500 in not refundable, the only thing you can do is change your dates within 24 hours after you pay that deposit. This I believe is preposterous! Any airline or even websites like Expedia and Kayak allow you to process a cancellation, free of cost within the first 24 hrs.
2. The lady Sangeeta doesn't even share the fare estimations if she thinks you are not a serious buyer. Maybe these are some ways to put pressure on people

I had to fly India for a business meeting, I was searching fares and availability online, most of the flights with one stop were way expensive for business class. While searching on Bing I saw Ambi Travels ad, I called and talked to Sangeetha, she is great, she got me the flights I was looking for and better fare than online.
She even gave me local contact in India if any changes I can call her local agent in India. Though I never needed any changes in my return flights so I never contacted local contact, but it was nice to have.

Sangeeta provided super friendly service and I am very happy with our purchase. I bought tickets for our December trip to India, we wanted to stop at Dubai and spend our 31st night at Dubai before going to India. We have never been to Dubai before, Sangeetha at Ambi Travels arranged our Dubai package, she has been there and she arranged our local tours and gave us recommendations for shopping, etc. This was very helpful to us, we loved our Dubai trip, especially the Dubai Safari which was real fun. Sangeeta helped me book my ticket on Emirates. A few days later i had to cancel my ticket because of some unforeseen problems that cropped up.
Emirates was REALLY SLOW processing my refund. I was constantly in touch with Sangeeta during this agonising wait. In the end Emirates made a mistake on the refund amount. Sangeeta quickly analyzed where the problem was and refunded
the difference to me.

I had recently purchased a ticket from a Agent Sangeeta. She quoted me a fee and when I went to the airport they charged extra for the bags even though it's international flight and I had got only 1 bag per person.
And the flight agency mentioned that the agent did not pay for the bags. So I would definitely not suggest buying tickets from them and you might need to pay more later @ airport.
On top on that Sangeet is the worst agent, she is so rude and impolite.
