Tina Gutierrez specializes in Social Justice and protest photography as well as fine art, underwater, and commercial portraiture. She is an "Art Instigator" who encourages communities and individuals to create in ways that are healing to others and to themselves. I live in Cincinnati, and can easily travel to Dayton, Ohio, and also Lexington, Louisville, Kentucky and Columbus, Ohio or Indianapolisand beyond.

There is nothing quite like the unique feeling of underwater photography. It's otherworldly ability to transport us to another realm rarely seen requires physical and technical challenges to both the swimmer and the photographer to create high quality, lasting beautiful images. I loved working with Avery to create these images for her senior portfolio.
The Opulent Wanderlust, Is a multi-form expression of color, texture, and movement with the intention of distilling new tensions from combinations of materials. From couture designer to indigenous attire, the aesthetic speaks to the present with an echo of the past, from the collector to the viewer.
As someone that would be uncomfortable being photographed nude, I have found it incredibly odd that I love photographing others without clothes. Many of the women who modeled reported the sessions as "freeing and Healing, " I think I find them that way as well. I admire the courage it required it took for these women to allow themselves to be recorded with my camera and how beautifully all of them worked together to create these images.
Headshots and portraits in Cincinnati and nationally for musicians are an important promotional tool. They create an instant impression of you as a working musician. A head shot should communicate that the artist is pleasant, fun and professional. However, just as a photo can say good things about you, it can also create a negative image portraying you as distant, amateur and boring.
I love to shoot photos of theatrical, musical and business people. There is something magical about capturing the passion, no matter the age or physical characteristics: the art always emerges. People often ask how I get such a natural expression. I am not comfortable posing for pictures and Tina Gutierrez help me find a way to feel comfortable and natural, it almost felt like I was not posing.
