Material Mart has grown from humble beginnings in the basement of the original owners home (where they specialized in fashion fabrics) to a full service quilt shop with over 3200 bolts of fabric! Material Mart offers a friendly and welcoming store environment, with a creative staff of talented quilters and knitters.

Services
Dinner will be furnished Friday and Saturday night. Bring munchies to share. Water furnished. Come spend the weekend with us. Sew all day, create, and complete those un-sewn projects. Leave your sewing machine and projects, sleep at home and return the next morning ready to go again. Come Show your latest project and show us how you are doing on the "First Saturday Pieced" Quilt or the "First Saturday Applique" Quilt.
Material Mart offers a full service Long Arm Quilting Department. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best long arm quilting. We strive to ensure that the final outcome of the quilting service exceeds your expectation. We understand the time and love that you have put into your quilt and we want to help create a beautiful family heirloom for generations to come.

Very helpful and sweet ladies. I've always seen by hand but the allure of a machine got to me. So I'm starting out and bought a sewing machine from them. I'm excited for the classes to learn how to use and care for my new machine as well. They also have very nice fabric and amazing designs I haven't seen anywhere else

Very friendly & knowledheable staff, they carry plenty of great quilt fabrics, Viking sewing machines, and lots of patterns. The fabric selection tends to run to middle-of-the-road choices (i.e., not as much Civil War or 1930's reproductions or "modern" fabrics), but they do have a lovely selection of batons and some nice flannels. They also offer a long arm service, and carry a nice assortment of hand sewing needles & supplies. As a hand quilter, if I can't find it there, all I need to do is ask and they find a way to help me out. Terrific shop!
