The Law Offices of Malek & Malek have been serving Columbus, Ohio, and the surrounding communities since 1972. Attorney Ed Malek founded the Malek Law Firm as a general litigation practice, providing legal representation in a variety of areas. In 1995, his eldest son, James Malek, joined the practice, and the firm narrowed its focus, concentrating exclusively on protecting the rights of accident victims, injured parties and their families.
Workers' compensation is a no-fault system of insurance designed to pay benefits to workers who were injured or became ill while performing their job duties. Unlike a personal injury claim, injured Ohio workers can pursue a workers' compensation claim despite who was at fault for the accident and even if you were injured due to your own negligence.

This will trigger the BWC reaching out to you to schedule a C92 examination by a BWC doctor. You're allowed physical or mental conditions will be evaluated, and that doctor will assign you a percentage partial impairment.
Temporary total disability compensation is a form of workers' compensation available to injured employees who have been involved in a workplace accident and are temporarily, medically incapable of returning to work (i.e. the "former position of employment") as a result of his work injury or work accident.

After my injury, worker compensation was sending me to physical therapy. I was having a lot of pain and still was having to do what they wanted. I was referred to Malek and Malek. They started seeing to it that i went to the right doctors. I then had my surgeries, heal time and then physical therapy. I still could not return to work and they were able to assist me in getting industrial total disability. I am very appreciative for their professionalism.
